Loyalty points system replaced-please read and reply officially Everton.

Before i start, i'd just like to state this is not a criticism but i'm genuinely confused as to the statement you have put out regarding this Everton. You state that the loyalty points system is being REPLACED by PURCHASE HISTORY. Well it isn't. I'm not a season ticket holder (live in Oxford, work in retail so work many Saturdays) but i go to as many games as i can. I think last year i went to six away games, five at Goodison and the semi final. The year before i went to more than that. In all the time i've bought my tickets it didn't matter if i had 1 loyalty point or 1000. The loyalty points system has NEVER EXISTED with regards to purchasing tickets. I grant you i was always given my loyalty points but i could never ever understand why because when i went to buy a ticket the only criteria was how many home premier league games i had been to when purchasing home premier league games (cup games don't count when buying a premier league ticket, did you realise that?, again not a criticism just a fact) or how many away games i had been to if buying an away ticket. In the time the loyalty points system has been around i have never ever had to quote it or use it and the reason is it just didn't matter! Do you see my point? The loyalty points system is not being replaced by purchase history IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY! If i was to have one criticism it would be regarding the way you appear to be selling away match tickets for the coming season. I see from the information you have put up on the site for the Villa Park game later this month that it is now going season ticket holders with away credits (and quite rightly so as well) straight to general sale? How on earth is that a fairer system? I have the purchase history of six away games from last year but someone who has never been to an Everton game can buy one on general sale on the same day and time i can. What you have created there is a free for all and not a system that rewards supporters who travel often. I would appreciate an official response to this if possible please Everton.

    Many thanks,

    Paul.
