Anybody know if any former players are pulling on a shirt or is it just the current squad?

I don't expect it to be anythnig that squad, unless they send someone on for first or last 5 minutes. Squad badly needs the games imho.

I reckon those who have played with him on the coaching staff will get a cameo, Stubbs, Weir and big Dunc, but i agree with Gwldys the 1st team needs a good work out.

No it will be the first team and the first team only. Seen as its a pre season match, we will probably play our strongest side available.

I think you may be a little surprised. It will predominantly treated as a pre season gaem, but you may see 10 mins at the end where it may be treated more in the spirit of a testimonial.

I hope Hibbert doesn't take a penno though. I'm glad he's said he wont.

Good on him. I want his first goal to be against the rs, in the league, at Goodison, to give us a 1-0 victory. The next one can be at Anfield, same scoreline. The resulting good-natured rioting will help to show the world why the Merseyside Derby is a superior event to anything involving manure or chelski. As a result of this, we will attract more fans and sponsorship, and the Club's income will increase sufficiently to fund the purchase of players who will help us win the League. Go for it Hibbo.
