    We have Tim Howard and Landon Donovan is bound to be signing our praises over there yet they come in and buy liverpool and allow their _tw@t managers to spend money like its going out of fashion. 

    My question is why the _fuck did they not buy us instead? Loyal long standing manager who proves can do well on a small budget plus the American connection we have. Surely it would have been wiser to give Moyes money than the Queen Kenny. Fair enough the 50 million for torres helped fund alot but even that did not cover cost of caroll and suarez. They then went on to spend 20 million on henderson and 10 million on adam, 6 million on enrique. I make out they took in 50 million for torres and spent that and another 50 million or more.......If Moyes was given half that he would of had Everton challenging and winning trophies, top 4 etc.

    They didn't even know of Liverpools existence before they bought them. Liverpool were sold to them correctly, by the right people.

    Those Americans that bought Liverpool are the same financial group that own A.S. Roma, as well as the Boston Red Sox. The answer lies in the fact that they like the color red. Simple as that.

    I don't know why this is such a big mystery to so many people.

    Even if Everton had a memorable season of playing in the Champions League group stages and winning one of the domestic cups , and Liverpool had a season outside the top 6\7 again and won nothing, they'd STILL make more money than us!

    What annoys me is the fact that Liverpool are on tv more than Everton. TV rights generate a lot of extra revenue and I guarantee Liverpool will be shown more than Everton, Newcastle and perhaps even Tottenham this season.

    ...hmmm...azzo, jacko.... Did it never occur to you that it might be because Liverpool have won the Champions League/EC five times and are the most successful team in European competition after Real Madrid and Inter Milan ? Perhaps that's why the TV stations
    are able to attract larger global audiences and generate more revenue , just a thought.

    But based on this notion surely Notts Forrest, Blackburn etc should be played on TV more times than say Wigan? I understand your logic and whilst Liverpool have been a hugely successful team they don't deserve the TV coverage they now get.

    Based on escla logic in that case Man City should barely ever get aired but they do......

    This is why I disagree with his logic.

    We finished above liverpool in the league and therefore deserve more coverage for coming season. It should work on league standings from previous season basis.
