Sorry if this has already been brought up in another forum, but did David Moyes ever officially say anything on Denis after the season was over? as to whether we would bring him back permanently/on loan again?
Or has he even moved on already elsewhere does anyone know.. ?

not saying i'm desperate for him to come back, just havent heard anything one way or another..

We sent him back as soon as the season was over. And that was the end of that.

thought it was a bit odd though that there's been no mention of him by Moyes, no thanks for the hard work but we wont be taking him on permanently kind of thing. Reporters usually ask these kinds of questions so bit suprised to have not seen anything mentioned.
Or a proper interview about Royston Drenthe for that matter! I know Moyes would probably rather not talk about it but just find it odd how these players have been swept under the carpet and forgotten like they were never here...

I believe Tigre were looking for at least 5mill for him, which obviously priced us out

I heard that too Barni and that someone in La Liga is looking to take him next season, loved his work ethic but was just lacking that clinical finishing of Jelavic

to be fair.. if he had a goal scoring record similar to jelavic did in scot prem, and im pretty sure he was bangng them in for Tigre, then 5 mil is about right. like you say though, priced us out. genuinely hard working bloke... kinda wanted to see him become a bit of a cult classic here... not remembered for banging them in but more for taking the fight to teams.

    good luck to him anyway

well.. exactly that! id have liked to have known Davey's thoughts on how he did over the season, if he were to be offered on another season long loan would he take him again etc (on the basis that we're light up top). nothings been ruled out.
