Coleman as an attacking full back. Has to learn to defend a bit more but Neville is the perfect teacher.

Coleman can't defend so I wouldn't want this.

There is absolutely no more evidence that Coleman can operate a full back at PL level them there is that Tim Cahill can!

I was thinkin this myself a while back, but you're right, he's not a solid enough defender. Good at goin forward but thats it.

I'd be happy with Hibbo stayin at Right Back this season - played well last year like.

I think we should keep Coleman at right mid. He has pace and a bit of trickery and he can cross a decent ball in.

Lets not forget he is still quite young and hasnt really been given a go at RB. This season give him a run at RB in the cup games if he cant manage it, sell as he isnt a good enough RM

It wouldn't really work to deploy Coleman as an attacking full back unless we use two holding midfielders who sit and cover for him and Baines and doing that just concedes possession in the middle of the park. As much as you slate hibbo he actually covers at the back post really well he is usually in the middle covering for jonny/jags as distin has to cover for baines when we lose possession when he is forward attacking, coleman doesn't have the physicality to do that or the reading of the game yet at least

This entirely, whilst its nice to have symetry of two defenders that are good going forwards, the gaps to be filled will be greater than the number of defenders we have back. couple of quick counter attacking long balls and we have lost.

everton would be too vulnerable with coleman at full back.  we'd ship too many goals because of it.  thats ok if you are real madrid or barca or arsenal cos those teams play attacking football and can go and score 3 or 4 goals at will.  but when you are everton and you base your whole system on being organized and hard working you can't afford to have a player like coleman as one of your full backs
