i bet that kenwright uses the arteta beckford yakubu money to service debt, we had a few hours to spend that 4.5mil from beckford and nothing happened. fair enough the arteta and yakubu deals were too late to do anything but we should have around 16mil to spend in january
    arteta-10mill, beckford 4.5mill, yakubu (hearsay) 1.5mill.
kenwright will be happy that they went late as he will tell the fans or manager when january comes that the banks were calling and had to use that money for them.

hopefully im wrong but it happened with the vaughan and pienaar money 5.5mill and seen nothing

    as usual you are wrong.

"Everton manager David Moyes will be given a chunk of midfielder Mikel Arteta's £10m fee to spend in the January transfer window after the Spaniard's move to Arsenal was done too late for Moyes to get a replacement. His priorities will be a midfielder and a striker."

I'd be happy f it did pay off the debt.

I get confused when fans complain that we have debt and then when we have money they expect us to spend it on players rather than clearing the debt.

The debt is holding the club back so clearing it over the next few years will mean a better future

We clearly have a squad capable of a top 7 finish so settle back and enjoy the football

No milky kenwright and the board are holding the club back

They accumulated a bigger operating debt under their custody

players will be on their way out of the club in january not in with are up to our t.ts in debt and will have to sell

Ok say we sell players to wipe the debt this puts us into relgation /mid table bracket again we can't replace the players we've sold as we'd be back to where we are now.

So the last 9 years under Moyes has been a complete waste of fu'cking time

    KENWRIGHT OUT

    OK?

we have risen on average by 11 places in the league for me tahts improvement.

Moyes has spent a fortune buiding this squad and the squad is capable of a top 7 finish and hopefully higher.

If we get European football everyone will say Moyes is a genius and Bill will not got any credit.

    Fickle lot Blues fans

It is hard to see players go but i agree with Milky. With us having potentially 20 million that could cut the debt in half.

With that we could discuss lower repayments with the bank. If income stays the same the monthly negative should subside and get back into the black. This would then be good as we could start saving for player, make the books look better.

I know we will then not have the funds right away to replace players but would then look better to prosppective buyers / inversors. ETC

One of those rare occasions I completely agree with you mate.
Losing Arteta, Yakubu and Beckford will not effect us in anyway except morale and Moyes can lift that back up, its one of many things he is very good at.
I want this money to be used to pay off debt and hopefully buy the two loanees when they turn out to be as good as we hoped and more. The moe we clear our debt, the brighter our future looks as long as we don't clear out our best players.

sorry milky i dont agree i know what your saying but if we keep selling our players and not replacing them that would make the situation a whole lot worse maybe relegation. if we use the sky money league finishing money to service debt and use the money from players to replace them or get a couple more in we could finish higher in league win trophies and get extra money that way, in this world you have to spend money to make money and were doing neither at the min
