QPR

By Jaysus, they have some massive squad. Something like 30 odd senior players (including 10 strikers!), plus a number of under 21 fringe players. And yet they are still on the look out for more men... including Pienaar. Hate to be a fringe player in that team. They're gonna go down this year anyway and will end up having to let go of most their players. Must have a massive wage bill.

Why will they go down? they've invested in mid table/top 7 premiership players. Stop being so arrogant fat head the fact is qpr's board are showing more ambition in 1 season than our 'board' have in 10+ years.

You are part of the bigger problem and are partly to bame for the mess the clubs in because yer an empty'ed.

QPR will struggle this season, their squad is badly balanced as pointed out far too much reliance on the forwards when their defence is awful. Paying massive wages to the likes of Cisse Johnson Onahua etc is not a sustainable way to run a club, it's Portsmouth 2.0, Pearse has a good point imo, i wouldn't want any of their players either, how many would get into our starting line up?

I'm inclined to agree Smigs, but i don't think they will get relegated, they have invested in a squad that will get them top 12 i think, they will have to invest another 40million minimum to the challenge top 8, and then that will be attracting the quality of player they would need to do that.....

You are not a very nice fella Tony. Sorry. I do agree however, that we don't have a Premier League standard board/investors which I have made clear in a lot of posts. I was only making a point about QPR anyway. They have too many attacking and also greedy players in their team with **** defenders

QPR players aren't that standard at all though. A lot of their players struggled at other clubs. They'll be in and around the relly zone towards the end of the season is my opinion. By spending so much they have put a lot of pressure on themselves and wouldn't be surprised if they went through two or more managers this season. Just my opinion mate

QPR have too much to go down. I do agree though the balance of their side needs improving though. Defensively they where awful last season but onouah should be settled now and he is a decent player. They have signed a few attacking players and will probably focus attention now to getting defensive cover. I think Park will help that side of their game with the tracking back and effort he puts in.

I can see them around mid table

I think your opinions are corrupted by jealousy and the fact you can't face or accept the fact qpr are spending like a well established premiership club while we operate like a league one club.

Maybe if more people stood up and told that_cunt kenwright no more_bullshit instead of clueless  clapping like a seal for a morsel of fish when bill comes on the big screen you never know

You know well these days, an organised team isn't enough. Boards like that at QPR will pounce on any bad results and make a hasty decision to sack the manager.

I dont think they will sustain such a bad spell of results to warrant that cos of the manager they have, and i also think the board are not stupid enough to know that finishing top 12 this season would be a step forward....

Fair enough. But I also think a long with a big salary that a lot of their players they've signed this summer, they've probably been given the idea that they will be pushing for European spots this year in order to lure those players in to signing a contract with QPR. Come January, when they will be a bit off the pace, a number of their impatient nomad players will be looking at moving on again either in that month or at the end of the season. Spending money is all well and good, but you have to spend it wisely to build a balanced squad.... which unfortunately Moyes would  know how to do, but hasn't quite got that chance to do that yet

Boom and then bust...writing is on the wall said it ages ago and will maintain it, they will stay up this season no problem but they won't go forward and push for the top 8 as nostrsammy says. They have put too much money in the way with big contracts for players coming to the end of their careers who have landed the pot of gold contracts and have no re-sale value and are badly in decline.

I do wish we had that spending power but i don't think we would spunk it on the likes of Barton, Zomora, Onahua etc all decent players but not top 8 players, still don't see a player who would get in our side in their ranks,Onahua at right back maybe but thats it and that only as we were in for him before he went there
