    Explain this to me, why, in nearly all cases like this, do you see the picture of the person that has committed the act, and straight away your head says 'yeah, he looks just like the type that would bum kids'. 

    Its like your head has a preconceived idea of what a paedophile looks like, and when you see one that is in the papers that has been convicted it matches the exact description you have in your head.
