Yes but even if they didn't reveal the contents of the meeting, and did manage to get further communication... based on what we've heard upto now I would very much doubt we would hear the truth! After all this it has futher enhanced the thoughts that I would not believe a word that comes out of BKs mouth or any of the board for that matter!
They will have us believe anything, just watch this space!!!!

You'll believe everything he said at the BU meeting though? In which case if they waited till he said something actually worthy of the damage they have caused it would be better.
They have simply laid bare our problems for others to take advantage.. and they ahve not revealed anything we didn't know except perhaps he has a bigger ego that expected.
If they have nothing to tell anyone yet its going to damage the club and its image then they shouldn't say anything and should of worked towards a second meeting at least.

I don't believe everything he said at the BU meeting no... for instance I don't believe they were about to sell to a man in manchester!
Granted I think they could have waited for something worthy of the damage and I think the timing for the release of the transcript was bad. I personally would have asked better questions but I weren't there and we are in decline so fast that waiting too long could be pointless.
They have laid it bare because too many Evertonians believe that BK is a saint, is a blue, is doing all this for nothing and has Evertons best interests at heart. This is not the case and the transcript proven that.
I will repeat they could have kept it under wraps until gathering more evidence but what I don't agree with is that they didn't reveal anything new! It is clear from the transcript that the board have everything but Evertons best interests at heart.

I am not suprised the only things you don't believe from him are the bits where he says something positive about himself..
He is doing it for nothing, he's not collecting a wage and nor is anyone else on the board, however no one thinks he's a saint, how you come to the conclusion that he has everything but the boards best interest at heart is beyond me.. I read it and the first thing that really struck me is how badly Kenwright wants to sell the club for the sake of the club.
I also don't doub for a second that some cockroach tried his luck at buying the club.
Literally nothing of any note from that meeting was new information but what they have done in exchange is destroy any hope of blagging it against other clubs that we do not have to sell so won't necessarily accept any old price for our players.
If you think thats worth what you have read then fair enough, personally I don't, but that's because I don't think they revealed anything of note.. but as I have said before, I respect their ability to get a meeting in the first place I just wish they had done more with it than just go running to the forums.
There seemed like a genuine chance to build something with Kenwright here and without damaging the club.

The club needs to be ruined for them to have ruined the club, I also don't think you make up 80% of the everton fans either. Kenwright did sell Arteta.. because he slapped in a transfer request, I reckon it would of been worth more if Wenger hadn't been informed how little money we had, don't you?
No spin needed, just the ability to step back from the endless conspiracy theories and dumbass comments about how we should be rich, how we would be better with anyone except Kenwright and how buyers are lining up to buy us. Add to that the endless rubbish about  the situation we are in (debt more than covered by selling a few players) and the blindness of the anti Kenwrighters who cannot see how much better we are now than we were before Kenwright, and you start to build up an overall picture of a bunch of spoilt divs with no idea of anything about anything.. bu..bu..bu Kirkby.. you cry.. Get over it that was years ago and cost us practically nothing in real terms.
You can call people any name under the sun, doesn't make you right.

I can't see anyone being interested in buying EFC as a profit maker. It has to be someone who has the cash to indulge his fantasies, a bit like chelski boss. BK would be the ideal man for the job if he was a billionaire, but he  isnt and I dont think we should be blaming him for that.

Without him the good ship EFC would have sunk seasons ago.

They told the truth! If EFC's accusations of foul play towards the Blue Union are correct why don't they do the usual thing and sue ? That's what they are known for. Strange that Saint Bill choose to talk to Sky Sports straight after the release of BU's statement.

You can't blame the Arteta transfer on them .All they did is told the truth. This club is poorly run except for PR which a lot of blinkered fans seem to follow the party line like brainless sheep.

I just don't understand the willingness to put off with the crap with have been spoonfed. Things need to change , for right or for wrong Blue Union are trying to make a difference.

Enjoy the rest of the season in ignorance guys.

"Every man and his dog knew we are skint anyway regardless of the blue union"

the blue union are responsible for telling the world that the bank had called in EFC's overdraft.

that news in itself would help destroy confidence in the team and club as a whole.

it was a blatantly dishonest act by a group of ignorant people much like yourself, who know little, if anything at all about how business is done or ethics.

it may well have been a factor in arteta requesting a transfer and it means that other clubs can now play hardball in transfer negotiations. it will also unsettle other players. contract negotiations were said to be going well with fellaini. but will he now want to renew his contract?

it will also be harder to attract players to goodison. we may be suffering the fallout from this nasty piece of betrayal of trust at the next transfer window and the summer transfer window.

the damage to the club could even prove fatal.

Big difference between knowing your skint and knowing the person you are trying to buy a player from has the banks knocking on the doors requesting money.. and that my friend is why the other 20% of blind idiots cannot see the truth. Shouting how skint we are to the rest of the world is not a good thing when it comes to our selling stance. You may think they only told Everton fans and you say yourself you already knew.. But what they did was to tell everyone and that is a stupid thing to do.

I blame Arteta for the transfer, he put in a transfer request. Nothing to do with Bill or the BU.
My view is that BU were stupid for telling the world how skint we are, letting other clubs know we have debt that means the banks are asking for their money now.. I feel this kind of puts us in a worse position when it comes to negotiations don't you?
If a club comes in for a player thinking we are in debt but not too badly they will pay accordingly, if they know we ar a wounded animal and that banks are demanding their money now.. I think they offer less.. I know I would..
That of course makes me both stupid, ignorant and thick as pigshit according to the enlightened ones such as yourself and MB.

Do us a favour if you go into business.. don't tell the people you are selling to that you desperately need the money.. it won't help.

I think this is part of the problem......

So far in this thread alone you have referred to your fellow Evertonians, people who support and love the club every bit as much as you do as "dumbarses" "Thick as Pigshit" "Balloonheads" "Clowns" and "Fools".

The BU is creating division amongst our fans and causing us to turn on each other and leading to rediculous statements being made on both sides. I'm sure this wasn't their intention and they ideally wanted to unite our fans together.

I don't think that you'll find one supporter who doesn't want to know answers, have a rich owner in place and generally be assured on the future of our great club.

I do however think that a lot of people are questioning the BU behaviour and the negative impact they fear this may have on our team - Go on facebook and all the People Group posts contain comments abusing the board AND our players - There is no way that this can have a positive impact on the team.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from........... If people keep telling you you're $hit often enough, you'll start to believe it.

The thing is Sambo it's true - I added The Peoples Group on facebook as I was excited at the potential of what could be achieved. However it has just spiralled into abuse from many supporters and it's led me to feel negged out and angry when I read peoples comments - and it's not anger at the board, it's anger at the mindless individuals who continue to slate all areas of the club including the players.

People talking about us not finishing in the top half or being relegation canditaes - I'm looking forward to seeing what DM is going to do differently now that Arteta is gone, especially with the 2 new boys........

Me too mate, theres too many people quick to say that we are going backwards when the season hasnt even started yet really! If we finish 7th again this season, it isnt a step backwards, but we will have consolidated nicely in a transitional period for us :). Lets judge come next may imo :)
