    My opinion is this -
    • Sale of Arteta does not bother me at all, I for one felt it was time he moved on. £10m and wages saves
    • Yak hasn't played for us full stop, he wont be missed. Wages saves
The Beckford did concern me due to the strikers we have available, our options are awful.

    • Vellios - Not sure if he will have many goals in him, not doubting his ability!
    • Saha - Hope we get at least 15 games from the glass man, full stop.
    • Anichebe - 2 goals in 107 years.
    • Denis Whatthefuckishisname - Still not sure this will work out.
The reality is, if you asked any premiership manager if they fancied going into a season with that lot above as their hope for goals, we all know what their reply would be.  You can insult me as much as you want, you are deluded if you think they are the answer for getting the goals for Everton Football Club.  I look back at the strikers we have had and what moyes has done to them, its shocking.  Moyes will obviously now look to his 541 system and stick to it, we have no pace upfront but plenty of height and i can see now what system we are looking at,dogs of war come to mind, lets face it, we are in a fight for our lives this season.

I agree with all of this. Don't forget also, it will probably be well into the spring before Strac even plays much. Moyes is already saying both the new boys 'will be given time'. Translation= Let's keep trotting Anichebe out there and hope he gets the ball on the 1 yard line. I'm not getting down on the new lads and I hope I'm wrong but I think it's going to be a hard season for us.

totally agree. beckford offered us pace and a few goals. new guy is unproven, anichebe should be ashamed of himself and saha will cut himself shaving and be out for 6 months yet still get paid bucketloads. beckford was just settling and had a lot more in him and they cash in on him. cant see cahill, ossie and felli making up the difference from midfield

going to be hard socher pal, really hard.

our team looks so negative attacking wise, we struggled at blackburn, dreading playing city and utd!

agree with the above. good post matt.

nice to have money but if you havent you have to do a bit of wheeling and dealing. moyse has pulled off some fantastic transfers over the years, top players for very little. lets not despair.

there are only so many times you can go to the well before it run's dry. a once great club like ours should not be in this state. kenwright needs to f,uc,k right off

without BK EFC would have gone down seasons ago. i wouldnt wanna be in his place right now. its gonna take a lot to find a buyer for a club that not only doesnt make money but needs investment of @ 200 million for a new stadium.

After that performance against QPR I'm worried about Swansea, forget City & Utd!
But all we can do is hope the players can do the walk like they do the talk. I am worried.... but It won't change things for me if we win the league or get relegated, I'll support this team forever.
Next to my missus EFC is the love of my life!
