Jackarata Gazza is to blame in all fairness. They probably got wind of his obsession with the blues going over and thought it was a possible security risk

This pre season is becoming a bit of a mess me thinks! Only waiting for Baines to go and not sign anyone else in the transfer window.

Who p1ssed on your chips, i don't think much has gone wrong all seems fairly smooth Yobo finally going, nothing but paper talk about our star players, this issue is something that appears beyond our control. Don't see much wrong

You don't see lack of match practice as something which is wrong? Or the fact our thread bare side becoming even smaller yet we still don't have the wage budget to sign the players we want isn't a problem either. Same old story and probably the same old start to a season!.... I used to be very positive by the way, but its hard when the same **** keeps happening year in year out!

Playing an Malaysian 11 is hardly match practice mate. I think the conditioning work would benefit the team greater at Finch Farm if i am honest. I worry if Howard, Baines or Jelavic get injured i think we can cope in most other areas but that in itself is a third of the first team so your point is a good one

I'm just hoping for more this season, we were buzzing at the end of last season and i just don't want the same attitude as last year, it was horrible at Goodison at the start, well the first half, of last season it seemed like fans were turning up already beat and ready to skin the board (something i ain't completely against btw). Trying to hold onto the positives and apart from the lack of back up for those three i think we are in good shape for next season, it can't come quick enough now

The whole fiasco is a shame! Having lived in Jakarta for more than a year about 4 years back, i can sought of understand how the country operates and the people.

The organisers have messed it for sure. But the biggest victims are the fans who are travelling there like me. I am going there with a group of 5. I understand from sources that there are plenty travelling from Merseyside, Australia, Bangkok, Malaysia etc. So having sorted out the travel plans, lodging , its all gone to waste. The prime reason we are there is for the team. Now its all gone!... this is so frustrating. I can understand the security and travel issues cos having lived there i know how it can be. So do i really blame Everton Football Club for pulling out..... maybe Not.......

So this lot of Everton fans who travelling there are in a limbo now...... truely the whole pre-season is a mess....... absolutely gutted and ****.!!! So much money spent for nothing!

    Hi JinderNeil,

We spoke before at another thread, I truly feel how you feel as I've also spent quite a bit on the air tix & hotel.. I'm a Toffees fan from Singapore & having Everton coming all the way to Indo was something I truly couldn't miss out on.. And now all my hopes & dreams of seeing them are dashed..

Screw those Indo organisers!! How lousy can they get.. Its just a tournament for a team of 4!!

I'm an Everton fans from Indonesia. I hear that you canceled to participate in Java Cup Tournament, It was made me very disappointed and upset too. Desire to see you live, back away. I think it is a lot of clubs playing here and there are no security risk issues worrying before. See, LA Galaxy, Internazionale and QPR have played here..there's no problem.

    Hi sheashevanecha216397,

I understand where you're coming from but I think the club shouldn't be blamed for the sudden withdrawal.

I have been searching & asking around for ways to get tix online for the cup since the day the annoucement was made, but till this week still unable to.. (I know tix were already sold locally but how could it not be available online for supporters coming from overseas? Obviously this would affect the tix sales greatly!!)

So from this, I can already tell there is no proper organisation & publicity for this event, the organisers have to be faulted for this! & now they still got the cheek to sue our club, RIDICULOUS!!

to order tickets online in Indonesia, there are usually at www.rajakarcis.com

of course, it's very embarrassing. I guest, maybe this time different event organizers with event-friendly game before the game.

I just want to see my favorite team playing in my country. Other teams have visited and gave impression for the supporters. I hope to one day be able to visit our country.
