After all the talk recently about the clubs finances, i decided to have a look at ours and other clubs company reports which you can download from companies house. Below is a quick snap shot and to be honest our pre-tax profit isn't bad. I know all the others below out perform us in actual turnover, but when/if the s$$t hits the fan, EFC are in a much better position to survive than most other.

Everton Liverpool Chelsea Arsenal Man Utd
    turnover 79,076,000 184,542,000 187,290,000 228,991,000 286,416,000
    pre tax profit -3,093,000 -19,880,000 -70,437,000 87,805,000 25,349,000
    Net Worth -75,044,000 -103,632,000 -495,317,000 104,489,000 32,935,000
    Operating profit -17,697,000 -25,091,000 -68,704,000 N/A 52,039,000
    Assets 64,773,000 251,656,000 217,220,000 423,414,000 931,427,000
    Liabilities 93,210,000 257,552,000 648,498,000 71,435,000 784,463,000
    Wages 54,311,000 121,085,000 161,346,000 107,944,000 131,689,000
    Directors Wages 0 1,840,000 1,415,000 3,009,000 3,882,000

i know i'll probably be slated for this post and told the figures are made up and so on, but if any one want to look at the reports let me know and ill try and ill send them to you to browse through.

nice to see some facts. there a rare sight here. one of the 'directors wages' is missing. any idea which one? ive assumed its arsenal.

makes interesting reading. our turnover and profit are very low. but we are not out of the game.

Everton directors don't take a wage, i think our directors are the only ones in the premier league not too

    Barclays are our bankers.

We play in the Barclays Premier League.

Its probably as well that Barclays are not allowing us any further advances.

However, does anybody know of other Premier League Clubs banking with Barclays, who have been allowed to splash the cash during the window.

I keep hearing that all clubs will be accountable shortly, so that their outgoings do not exceed their income! Does that apply to the big spenders who will deflect the cost of their squad into other financial areas of their business?

i've been saying this for ages now ...look at the TV revenue figure...manu £104 mill, lpool £85 mill, arsenal £80 mill, chelseas is hidden under "football activiteis" so must be at least on a par with manu....

and this my friends is part of the problem ...instead of a fair share for all..... the bigger clubs rake it in....

I concur luke, imo, any TV money should be split evenly with EVERY team in the top flight, if they want to then show, ManU, cEHLSEA, RS, etc every week then thats their choice, OR, how about every football fan in the country outside of the top 4 or 5 turns round and cancels their sky tv and refuses to renew until the moeny is split fairly??

I know this is extreme and wouldnt work, but it should all be split evenly imo.
