Breaking news here is that Everton FC have re-entered the race to sign the versatile player Tomas Sivak who is a now free agent having recently snubbed a new contract offer from former employers Besiktas.

It is thought that David Moyes’ Merseyside outfit have offered a double your money offer of £28,000 (€36,000) per week to the 28 year old in a bid to lure him to Goodison Park, the traditional home of Everton FC.

The move comes as it now seems inevitable that Everton FC’s Leighton Baines will join former Premier League Champions Manchester United in a deal worth up to £15m (€19m). The Baines transfer could take effect as early as Monday next week and David Moyes is keen to bridge the gap left by the long serving Baines.

Sivak (28) is comfortable as either a holding midfielder or on either flank in the defensive third.

He's still not even getting his currency converions right

    £28,000 is less than €35,500

Pluss SivOk doesn't play on "either flank in the defensive third". He plays on neither of them!

In fairness, he did get the Yakubu transfer right when we bought him.....after we already knew about it!
