Posts: 37September 2011 All the best to him. He left for footballing reasons, definitely not for money given the paycut he took. With 75k per week off the wage bill it will help things a lot. With him and the Yak gone that's 6.5m a year saved. the new guys won't be costing half that.We can now maybe use Bily more through the middle, his natural position! and push the development of Barkley and Rodwell.Drenthe is insanely fast and will give our new big man up front plenty of crosses to get his head onto. Along with Coleman on the other wing, who runs at defenders. I don't think things are as bad as they seem. Oh and Vellios must be push through to the 1st team squad now!
