No problems in fact happy but...

Are we really meant to believe that these deals have not been arranged for a while? The timing suited the board perfectly. Too late to get anyone in. The money will disappear again whether its to the bank or for "other expenses". Fact remains that we got rid of dead wood. The ones we brought in? Drenthe has quality, is his heart in it? Judging by his unveiling photo on the homepage I'd say no. However, he's a free agent in the summer and a big season will see him wanted by some big clubs. We won't get a look in and thats my only problem. The Argie? Never heard of him, suspect Moyes hadn't either until yesterday. We shall wait and see. Overall, not great but better than I expected. I'd expect mid table again and just hope that some money comes from somewhere otherwise I can't see us lasting too much longer.

I dont see how any positives can be taken from here.

we sold 3 of our players 1 who you would regard as a star player even those he has been out of form this season.

and replaced them with 2 loan signings who are no more then punts.

If this had happened at any other team we would be laughing our heads off coming out with look how weakened that team has become,  but becuase it happened here, people as usual are pretending nothing wrong.

Lescott, pienaar and now arteta 3 star players.  how do you keep the players motivated and show them that this team is ambitious.  theres only so many players you can take out before the whole team falls apart,

Look at our striker force, saha anichebe and that new guy.  the rest are unproven  cahill and fellaini are going to have to play there now, the most mobile players in the world ffs.

    So depressing

As do I, although I don't think Drenthe's a punt, I think that was a great signing, but we should have got him on a permo, because as has been said already, he could easily have a great season and be snapped up by one of the top 4 sides for free and we're left in the dark again. But we shall see. I actually also agree with a lot of what Snowcone's said though.....

To be honest, Yakubu is awful, starts off great at every club then loses interest. Beckford I'd have kept. Arteta, no thanks, I didn't rate him when he was supposed to be brilliant but 10m for the load of crap he is now. **** there hands off. The mistake for me is not buying drenthe on a permanent deal. 3 or 4 million, if he has a great season and wants to go elsewhere we get 12m. As it is he'll go somewhere else for a big fat signing on fee and we're three steps back.

Moyes sad it would take arteta a season to get over his injuey as it was a bad one.

Arteta will now be pushed into the limelight for the champions league.  All he has to do is sit back and pick out the passes, He has wilshire, ramsey, arshavin who can do all of the running for him, on top of that he has benayoun who is also a very intelligent player

If arteta has a great season for arsenal people wil be saying we should have sold him for 20,+.

IMO he is ust what arsenal need, they had too much pace before, and played too much pretty football with no end result.  If arteta can get his confidence back he can be a great player for them

I have the same feeling with you that arteta will have a good season with arsenal, but i also feel we would of complained about him all season and that he wouldn't of played any good for us aswell and people would of ended up like damn we should of taken that 10mil last summer
