So to sum up

So to sum up alredy having a thread bare squad

we get rid of yak, beckford and arteta, and replace them with 2 loan deals, drenthe who is a wild card and has had problems at each of his last 2 clubs, and that aregentian striker who is no more then a punt.

and for what a measly 15m raised for three of our players.  that hasnt even been reinvested in our squad.

granted we got 140k a week off the wage list, the 2 loan deals will probably take 40k between them, so that leaves 100k a week, which is more or less the 5m a year BK needs to help us break even.

so now thats, AJ, Lescott, Pienaar and now arteta.  4 key players that have left in back to back seasons.  arteta and pineaar for a grand total of 13m, PI** poor to say the least.

even the likes of stoke are now building decent teams, if they can get enough momentum and go on a run they can finsih ahead of us,

If we finish 13th or 14th just for one season we will again find ourselves in this position, Kenright needeing money and moyes forced to sell off another few players.  CAnt beleive its come to this.

Stoke paying 10m for a long streak of pi** is not a good deal in my book, Arteta as been great for us but he's not been the same since injured, Yak never the same after he missed that sitter in the World Cup? and Becks never set the world on fire and not the real deal for me,
What we've got to face is we're SKINT! and like most clubs have to sell to survive!
Hopefully the 2 new signings will light the place up for us and turn things round and if they do, then we'll soon forget about the 3 thats left

Yeah and we have Barkley comming through but my worry is if for a few seasons we don't have youngsters comming through of quality then were stuffed.

Calming down i understand Arteta transfer from all side Bar the chairman's i would still have kept him for anything less that 20 mill. Beckford did break the hear but a 4.5 mill return on a freebie is not to bad return in a season 10 more of them and we can clear our debt. Yak wanted to go two seasons ago and thankfully done now.

I am still unsure of the Argie but will wait for reall football and i have Major issues with Drents but i hope history does not repeat itself AGAIN with this guy.
