Good business!

Lets get real folks. I belive Moysey has done good business. Obviously Mikel is a sad loss but as others have said i'm sure we've had the best out of him. As for Beckford there was some potential there but we didn't play to his style - quick throught balls - so no major loss. As for the Yak he never really had his heart in it in my opinion. My lads tell me this Real Madrid lad good be a sensation so lets wait and see. As for the Argi, he certainly will scare defenders if nothing else!
We haven't got any money, it's not Bill's fault, just one of those things althought it is very frustrating that we can't find any DECENT buyer and just like at home if the budget is stretched we have to make do with what we've got!
There is something Bill can do for us that won't cost a penny - get some of his songwriting chums to come up with a couple of new "anthems" for us to sing! COYB.

Agreed. I refer to my post a good few hours ago We sell Arteta and its the end of the world!! When really, quite clearly its not. I think its a breath of fresh air!! And the bank will stay quiet for a few more seasons!

It is not just the selling of arteta. I am very gutted for beckford but you are right in we did not play him right. 12 million for arteta is nothing. You think about what he actually bring to the team in brining defence, midfield and attack together his runs and passing are great. we don't have that in the team.

Thinking logicaly will give Billy achance in the middle and think he will be better suited there.

Not so sure about drents though his temprement is VERY IFFY and has caused trouble at every club he has been at when not got his own way. That will upset a lot of everton fans and the players.

The Argie Top scorer last season So what has he done before? One hit wonder?

It went better than I feared, but, would of liked £5m of the £18m to be re-invested on players.

Onuoha would have been good right back and would have made us stronger than before the transfer window.

I would say that we have stood still this transfer window but paid off some debt, so, good business, but, felt there was oppertunity to come out of it better than we have with a small re-investment even just to make money by selling on for a profit next year (like beckford).

We could have got Dann and Onuoha on the cheap, and made a profit (or sold Jags as Dann taken his place) next year. We could have gone for someone like Leon or Bentley for RM.

If we need to sell to buy every year, we needed to start buying players to sell at a profit (or replace who we will be selling).

How can it be good businees when we sell 2 strikers, one world class midfieldier for nearly 20 million. Then get in two Loan signings? Really. The 20 mill will disapeer (IMO) and january will pass with possibly a similar happening.

Drenth is out of contract at end of loan, so, free transfer. Denis would have a cheap buy-out in contract.

on his day mate, and his days for the last 18months at least have been few and far between, and that is where the problem lies mate. in an ideal world it would have happened earlier so we could have got a replacement in, but it didnt, and until january we will be fine, and im sure the board DM etc arnt that stupid as to not let us get a replacement. all will be ok :)

RRRRR Sambro i hope to be re energised but your positiveness. but i will hold out judgement on that.

Also when quoting write outside the
marks hard to seperate what your saying and your quoting. Nearly as frustrating as the Arteta transfer. Not hahahaa
