Rebuild with what 2 loans signings.

already a depleated squad we lose 3 players and bring in 2 loans signings, its bottom of the barrel stuff.

Its bascially moyes giving up, and saying OK lets sell.  and even now we still only break even, what happens if we dont finish top8, moyes will have to sell again.

I was/am really fond of Mikel Arteta. I love his free kicks, his control on the ball, his defence splitting passes and whipped in corners.

In essence, I'm fond of the player Mikel Arteta was in 2005 to 2007. Lets face it folks, since the knee injury in 2009 and the contract pay day, he just hasn't been that player.

Is there an irony that someone now famed for passing the ball sideways is moving to a club famed for passing the everywhere but into the net? I couldn't care less.

At the end of the day we couldn't afford 75k a week, baines will take free kicks and corners (thank christ) and we will be able to add the 10 million to the sky money to spend in jan (assuming the yak and beckford money is going to the bank). And we will have to fashion a team built around the players we have.

Which is in all fairness something that Moyes is good at, having few options or decisions to make.

Agreed, especially with the last line. I would just love to see what he could do if he was given £50m-£60m to spend in the window.

what happens if baines gets injured.

we havent even brought in a back up for him.

distin will have to play there with yobo or hetinga in the middle.

Drenthe can also play Left Back if needed.

sorry guys I don't get the negativity bit.
Arteta was a great player for us and one I will remember in high regard but he's moved onto a new club that he sees offers him a fresh challenge - fair play to him - at least he's gone about it with some dignity
This has given the club some much needed cash and breathing space - isn't that all good news????
Better still we've offloaded the Headless Chicken (for a profit) and Mr Shuffle Foot and secured two players with some proven ability at a decent standard instead.
I know I wear rose tinted bins but I reckon that all adds up to a decent day at the office - bring on the Villains ...
