If we do sign Rodallega........

Then I will obviously support him and want him to do well, but I can't see where he would fit into our team. Jelavic will be our number one striker next season with Naismith or Fellaini playing behind, so where would that leave Rodallega?

Dont think hes that good. At least there will be no transfer fee but cant see him wanting to be a back up striker unless we start playing with 2 up front.

We only have 1 striker who can truly play upfront in Jelavic. Naismith from what I heard is a more supporting striker.

We look at teams with like 4 goal scorers and a few others to support we need more players that will be there incase of injury suspensions or just even a change of tactics as Jelavic aint the quickest striker we've ever seen.

Well if Rodallega did sign then he would probably only be a squad player.

I can say his name, but YOU cannot!!!

Anyway, I think he's a decent player, but I don't think we need him and I don't know how he would improve us.

strength in depth mate, he is def better than anichebe and looking at the numbers his goal scoring record says so too

Victor 12 goals in 104 appearances so that's 1 in 8.4 or something.

    Rodellega 90 in 280.........thats 1 in 3.1 or something.

Neither imo adds much else to the team so the goals are an  important factor for me mate.

i think he would be a good signing an would strengthen our squad all be from the bench if i seen a team sheet with naismith pienaar an rodallega if we get him for free an offload anichebe then id be a very happy man

glad you admit Rodallega adds little but goals - he doesn't score many goals either.

Unfair to compare the scoring record an upfront player who started most of his games to a substitute who often played wide. Also unfair to count Rod's goals in Colombian and Mexican leagues. His returns for both Wigan and Colombia are not at all impressive.

Rodellega 24 in 112 for wigan.

    Anichebe 12 in 104.

Rodellega played a bit part last season mate because he wouldnt sign a new contract. He's no world beater, but he is free and we could probably get 3 million for anichebe. It just makes perfect business sense imo..

i presume rodellega would be ahead of naysmith in terms of starting games.  if anyone would be a super sup i'd say it would be naysmith.  knowing moyes though he'll probably use rodellega on the right wing.  not a bad thing if we can't sign a propper winger cos rodellega has got a lot of skill and could chip in with a few goals from out wide

Had Fajitas. They were quite nice. Got footy soon though so you'll be able to get rid off me.
