Im sorry but 10-12m, for arteta is NOT a good deal. Only last season he was mentioned at 25m to replace fabregas.

IF moyes had got his way he would of rejected the deal and asked wenger to come back with more money, but due to it being last minute, he took what he could,

totally out of form last year mate, getting older, this year he is not worth 12million and he certainly hasnt been worth the 75k a week we are paying him.

£10m for Arteta is just about right......Are we seriously trying to say he was worth £20M+? Come on have a word with yourself. Do you really see some one paying £20M+ fee and then £75K a week for 4 years FOR A 29 year old????? Can some-one please tell me of another 29 year being bought for that amount?   Parker - who was player of the year last season had 2 years left on his contract went for £5M?????

""Oh yes it will go to the banks to help pay off the debts Bill Kenwright has run up in his desperate attempt to keep control. ""

another moron. who wants control of the titanic? until we find a buyer BK is stuck with a club that he can't afford. if it wasnt for him and moysey EFC would have vanished seasons ago.

I think you'll find you are the moron.

If BK is 'stuck with a club he can't afford', WHY DID HE BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE???

Kenwright "supporters". Don't you just love them? If he took us all the way to the Conference they'd still defend him.

Arteta was not worth much more than what we got and the 25 million price tag is usually said to stop people from bidding. He's 29, becoming injury prone and wanted to leave. Tickets, you've regularly said that Arteta is only worth 10 - 12 million so why the hell are you moaning?

"Everton is the love of his life. He still idolises the heroes of
his youth. Everywhere in his office there are pieces of memorabilia. Mere
mention of Dave Hickson, the "Cannonball Kid" who hammered 95 league
goals in 225 games over two spells at the club, gets the chairman all misty
    eyed.

margin-left:0cm">He used to run from school to see Hickson play midweek matches.
Like we all do with our heroes, he thought he had a bond with Dave - that the
bloodied hero of that epic 1953 FA Cup fifth round win over Manchester United
was dedicating each performance to the young Kenwright watching in the Gwladys
    Street End.

margin-left:0cm">Once he even insisted on getting up from his sick bed when
seriously ill to get to a home match. If he wasn't there, he reasoned, Hickson
would have nobody to score for."

The man is so out of his depth it's embarassing. What actually does he offer this club?

If the cash was going to be reinvested in the team then fair enough, but we know this won't be the case.

Our already small squad is considerably weaker tonight. Thanks Mr Kenwright. I'm sure Bill will come out of hiding soon reeling off a few 'tales from the boys pen' and remind us for the 10 billionth time how much he 'loves the club' in a sad attempt to appease disgruntled fans.

I'm fuming right now and the only people i dislike more than Kenwright are his deluded 'supporters' who think the sun shines out of his @rse and are blinded by the fact he's a blue.

Like your wages (if you do work?)
it will go to pay the bills you disillusioned no proof about Kenwright fool

£25 million was mentioned last year ?, by who the papers ?, also that was last year, add 'another' injury to him plus he's now nearly 30, no one in there right minds would of paid £25 mil, Arteta of 2007 has long gone, plus weve improved are finances and saved ourselves something like 15 or 20 million in wages on him alone, which makes us look a bit mor appealing to investors

It never fails to amaze me just how free and easy footy fans are with other peoples money. Why won't some billionaire buy Everton and spend his cash keeping us happy boo hoo!!

I know this may come as a shock to the younger fans but back in the days before football clubs became the toys of the rich and shameless when clubs wanted to buy players they had to do it using the resources of the club. In other words spend their own money and not someone eles's.

Now I know it may be an old fashioned idea these days but for 95% of english footballs history this is how it was done.

Man City have spent a BILLION pounds in the last three years. You could have built two Royal infirmaries for that but instead it was wasted on overpriced, overpayed and overrated young men who kick a ball for a living.

Everton and almost all of the premier league cannot possibly compete with spending on this scale and I don't think that we should. If nothing else It's immoral.

So lets start getting real. Everton are doing OK. We may not win anything for the forseeable future but we'll stay in the premier league. We have a great manager and a true blue chairman who won't risk bankrupcy for the quick fix.

Instead of envying the big spenders who are basically bankkrupt and living on borrowed money try to remember Leeds and Portsmouth. They spent money they didn't have and look where they are now.

Boll'X when he does and doesn't say what you knockers want to hear you slag the bloke off anyway. I wouldn't want to face an ill informed bunch spoilt brats who think they have a right to know every little detail about things they don't understand anyway. Who would you have run the Club? Do you know anyone who as the cash to take over? If so then why don't you tell BK and then He can sell Then you can spout this shittttt as much as you want, till then shutthefuckup
