What will happen to the £18m we've raised?

Oh yes it will go to the banks to help pay off the debts Bill Kenwright has run up in his desperate attempt to keep control.

The man is so out of his depth it's embarassing. What actually does he offer this club?

If the cash was going to be reinvested in the team then fair enough, but we know this won't be the case.

Our already small squad is considerably weaker tonight. Thanks Mr Kenwright. I'm sure Bill will come out of hiding soon reeling off a few 'tales from the boys pen' and remind us for the 10 billionth time how much he 'loves the club' in a sad attempt to appease disgruntled fans.

I'm fuming right now and the only people i dislike more than Kenwright are his deluded 'supporters' who think the sun shines out of his @rse and are blinded by the fact he's a blue.

I dont think it's that bad mate. It's more the fact that Beckfords gone. I mean we've replaced Arteta with Drenthe who is more of a winger and has pace. That's fine by me, Arteta isn't the same player he used to be.

We got rid of Beckford and havent really replaced him. Yak went and we got that Argentine fella, we've lost our forwards pace but now got some on the wring. Hopefully Cahill (who im not a fan of) can benefit from teh pace, and also the 6ft3 can score some headers and be a handful.

And what happens at the end of the season if either one of these lads has done a good job. It'll be like with Donovan, his price will go up and we still won't be able to sign anyone.
Beckford was free and did a decent job considering Moyes never played him. He'll make it alright, and we'll reget this day.

The sad thing is that Mr Kenwright thinks he dont have to answer to anyone, cause he loves the club so muuuuch.
Some money goes to the bank, some of it goes to the board.

Btw is Moyes our highest payed man in the club now?

Of course it will go to the bank to reduce our debt. And we have also
reduced our wage bill, hell maybe we wont make so much of a loss this
next year after getting rid of a lot of higher paid yet underperforming
    players.

Buying players with the money might seem like a good idea for the short
term, but in the long term are we not better improving our financial
situation rather spending big and making it worse? How are we going to be able to
afford to ever be a 'buying' club if we dont pay off our debt and
improve our finances to a point where we make money, or at least break even.

the argie wasnt a replacement for the yak, why people worried about the yak going is beyond me, he hasnt really had anything to do with everton for a good while, beckford and arteta ,were replaced by the argy and drenthe simple as.

Behave, that statement is rediculous, why would he rack up debts to keep control? Only reason we are where we are is because we spent more than we should on trying to keep our best players at Moyes request.
If you accuse the board of anything its that they have given Moyes too much when it comes to wages.Should of let players go in the past that were demanding too much money but we were all enjoying the european games too much to notice.

i think we should pump the money into the colombian drug trade, i reckon we could turn 18 million into a 100million in roughly a year, we cna then pay the debt off buy the training ground and spend 20miillion on players and run at profit every year.

Well angry with the dealing last night.

Not too bothered about Yak as was surplus and good we got a couple of million for him. Beckford for 4.5 mill??? Really frustrating with that one. But 12 Million for Arteta?????? WTF Should have been easy double that.

Kenwight is defo to blame here. He had signed a new contract a year ago to make him the highest EVER paid blue.He should have honoured that contract then to accept a 12 million bid for one of the best (on his day of course) midfieldiers.

This money will just disapeer the debt will still be the same. Two loan signings in is crazy to replace them and the dutch player has always caused trouble at his teams when he is not played etc. Going to cause a major bust up with moyse before the season ends.
Just face it were goting to STILL be 45 million in Debt by the endof the season with no extra players bought in. Depressing time here as a blue. It all went wrong last night.

Kenwright and Co need to produce a balance sheet and show that the transfer money has gone to reduce the debt...

If i remember rightly i remember that evertons debts last season were 30 - 35 million. Sure it came of the site some where. Last year we broke even. and this year were back to 45 million in Debt AGAIN. I do not trust the board at all. They have money but just seem reluctant to help for some reason. If you not part of the solution BOG OFF. (not the buy one get one free offer but a polite version of angry words)

Im sorry but 10-12m, for arteta is NOT a good deal. Only last season he was mentioned at 25m to replace fabregas.

IF moyes had got his way he would of rejected the deal and asked wenger to come back with more money, but due to it being last minute, he took what he could,
