Get real those of you moaning!! I dont know if you remember, but Kenwright (I sit on the fence with this dude) had to beg the banks so they did not cease us from trading!! Thats how bad our situation is!! Id rather let Arteta go, he is on way too much money anyway, we have made a huge profit on him, and lets be real here, he has been $hit for 18 months!! We have seen the best from Mikky and recently the worst!! He had to go! Wages and transfer fee, he has saved us by going. You may not see it that way, but its simple as that. We dont need him anyway. I thank little Mikky and wish him all the very best. He needs a change as do Everton! 75 thousand a week, PI$$ off!! Not worth half. Out of all the players we have that could of gone, Felli, Bainsy. Jags, Rodders, Arteta is the one I would of said bye bye to. Thank god the others are still around. Barkley will be twice the player Mikky was, mark my words chaps. And we got Drenthe, who to me is a brilliant signing. Fearless and one of the fastest plaers ive seen. He too needed a break. Remember when we first got Mikky, was not performing for Real Sociadad, then comes to Everton and becomes brilliant. Well Thats what will happen with Drenthe. Its got Moyes written all over it, saviour of players!! And as for the Argentinian, who knows!! Youtube him. He looks a handful. Could be a gem there. Glad the Yak has gone, Kinda glad Becks has too, no first touch and cant pass to save his life, and if your up front on your own, you need both. So, we lost 3 average players and cut the wage bill and brought in 2 possible great players, I for one cant wait to see Drenthe. Everything will be fine, you will see. BUT.....the main thing is EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB CAN CONTINUE TO TRADE AND CAN CONTINUE AS A BUSINESS!!! AND THAT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IS ALL THAT FRIGGIN MATTERS!!! END OF STORY!! STOP YA MOANING!!! IMWT!! COYB!!

Oh thats alright then...we should just accept that our club is being run into the ground...well done we can continue trading all the way to the conference...think it was a good deal to let him go for 10 million but with beckford going too and only replaced with loan signings...pretty much a disaster!

Ive supported Kenwright for years, but think he really needs to go...under him our club can only go one way and thats down!

Just really pi$$es me off all the moaners out there. Get behind the team, Whats done is done. This will not be the last player ever to leave our club. Get over it!! Everton FC is all that matters. I wanna see billions pumped into the bank but till that happens, the board and Moyes has to make sure we can continue to trade and run as the business. Thats it. I love this club, I was gutted when Rooney left, but look what happened after, we went on to bigger and better things and to be honest we had a far worse squad than we do now back then. Chins up guys. Its gonna be alright! :)

Andy2004, I understand mate. We will go nowhere near the conference mate I think thats an over reaction. If we dont manage our club correctly, we will become Portsmouth, Leeds, Southampton. And I dont want that. The club is running. We are in the prem. And I cant see us leaving it for a long time. One player wont change that, especially Arteta. Moyes is a sly, clever Scotsman. I do believe HE knows what HE is doing, even if Kenwright has no idea what HE is doing. When the dust settles, Everton shall be in business and hopefully climbing the league.

Agree, excellent post mate. I babbled all this earler and glad you've said most of my opinions in this post. I have N
o Evertonians to talk to so can hardly be arsed but today really got to me. I don't care if the people i spoke to are bothered, it's good to see other Evertonians share my view.

To be fair mate. Most SHOULD share this view. We have been here before. We have to do what we have to do to keep our club in business. Arteta is nothing compared to the CLUB! Imagine if we sold Felli, Id be real pi$$ed with that one, and or Baines, Jags or Rodders. Its ARTETA!!! Has people been watching a different player than me the last 18 months?? Doubt it! I live in Alabama USA, been here 3 years now but never miss an Everton game, and Mikky has been getting worse. Everton will always come out of adversity with flying colours!! WE ALWAYS DO! I didnt want Mikky to leave, but like Moyes and the board, I cant let my heart rule my head. NO PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN EVERTON FC. Business shall resume tomorrow no doubt. Thanks for writing buddy.

Just out of interest mate, are you from England? Have you ever been around fellow blues?

My opinions are made by me and told to people that couldn't care less so have no value. I rely on this forum for other opinions, and to be fair - some are pretty **** stupid sometimes! I barely post because sometimes i'm left speechless by one or 2 idiots and leave them to it.

Yeah im from Portsmouth mate. English through and through. I am actually a Pro "soccer" coach out here in USA. I work for a company called Coerver. You may of heard of them. Massive company. Me and 2 others run the South East, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee. Been and Everton fan all my life, so nearly 31 years. Was a season ticket holder a few times too.

There are some plonkers on here for sure and some of their views are comical. But you get that with all club forums I guess. But then sometimes you can get a real good discussion on here, rare I know, but you do. Where you from mate?

I dont mean any malice towards Mikky, I wish him the best. He never really moaned at Everton. But we got the best out of him and he became stale. He did great things for us and we should not hate on him. Just remember and thank him for the service he did give us, and at times it was really world class. But thats just an opinion. But I do wish him the very best. COYB!

Sounds good man, glad you've been here and lived the blue life instead of random foreign supporters (no offence to any!)
I wanted to do that but my P.E teacher screwed me over at school so couldn't get into the proper courses cos of my GSCE's.

I figure most people who post on here are the most opinionated and not the most knowledgable. Some regulars are pretty spot on (to be fair to you guys with sense!) but some just ruin some posts and i don't even want to reply.

I'm from Scarborough on the East coast so god knows how i ended up supporting the blues, weird story!

Sure if i'd owned a car when my team chose me i would've chose someone closer. I get to around a game a season, but it's about £150 for a day out so rely on the net to see the games mainly. I don't want to ruin my record of going to Goodison 9 times and never seeing us lose!

You dont need your PE teacher to do this job. Go and do some F.A coaching licenses and then maybe some Ueafa ones too. Then come on over here (we have a need for coaches!) and do a couple of American courses and bobs your uncle. I miss Goodison. I dont care if she is old as $hit!! There is just something about that place!! You know!

totally agree cant let beckford an yakubu go also vaughn an then bring in someone unknown an then rely on anichebe who wont get goals an is useless beyond belief an saha quality player on his day but we cant be waiting round all season for him to have his day an thats if he stays fit plus velios who needs to be given a chance i was nt a fan of beckford but to be fair to him he got us goals an won us a few valuable points the thing am disappointed about is that there loan signings an come next season when there back at there clubs we will be 7 players down an no money then sell players an get loans in again until were in the championship thats where we are heading just like leeds all them years ago sad situation at our club at the moment

Would love to mate but 10 years too late. I opened my own business today in a career i only found out about 2 years ago! Crazy day coming home to this!

My PE teacher told me on the day i handed in my coursework that i'd been doing it wrong for 2 years. Cheers, couldn't tell me 2 years ago? What a d1ck! So i wasted my teen years then my 20's in a pointless job.

I love Goodison, i'd find it hard to love another ground, we could play on the local field for all i care, i just wanna see the boys do the business on the pitch! If we don't sell out every week then i fail to see how a bigger ground would sort all of our problems.

Yeah he did, i called him a sheepsh@gg3r in my first year and he didn't like me from then on. I never got in the school footie team but walked into every other team i played for. Mint confidence boost for any kid.

We aren't in dire straits, Mark Knopfler was!

We'll be ok, how about you look at our history and see where we were 10 years ago. £60million in debt weren't we, threatened with relegation year after year.

Remember Kevin Campbell saying we'll take 17th then finish 4th? We may be another Fulham/Stoke/Villa but we'll be around for years to come, and it looks like today has gone a long way to securing that.
