SHOULD WE START A PROTEST AGAINST THE BOARD AND BILL??

    Just an idea?

We are now going into our 3rd year without signing a major signing, not good enough. Pienaar, Arteta, Vaughan, Yakubu and Beckford haven't been replaced long term.

Pienaar and Yakubu loan fee went straight to the bank, no doubt a chunk if not all of the money we got this summer will be going to the bank.

    Future looks bleak.

Protesting is actually pretty stupid because it won't result in nothing but i am so **** off right now!

    No point,what would it achieve?
They can't leave, they own the club and no-ones buying, they are selling because they overspent giving Moyes the players he wanted on the wages they needed to stay and now they are at the point they need to get rid because we can't afford it.
Its sad but it is what it is.

You have a complete right to be annoyed, but at the end of the day we are now in £10M less debt and have a reduced wage bill. We also have a winger and a striker and we have been crying out for a player in that position all summer, and as you said, a protest won't achieve anything.

Despite the wage bill and debt reducing, we still won't see change in January or next summer. We need a revamp in our board and we need to voice stronger opinions to them whether it's at the match or another way.

Pienaar - Didn't want to stay and we couldn't match Tottenham's wages
Arteta - Is 29 and hardly had a decent game in 12 months and we got £10m.
Vaughan - Loved him but sadly incapable of lasting 3 games in a row
Yak - Should have been sold to West Ham a year ago for better money. However, he's off the wage bill and Venky's fried chicken sales will now increase tenfold.
Beckford - Thought he was worth persisting with. That said £4m profit in 12 months ain't bad.

I'm not a Kenwright apologist by any means - it deeply frustrates me that other, lesser, overseas teams have been bought out for fortunes whilst Bill allegedly searches 24/7.

However, the bare facts of today aren't too bad at all. And it remains to be seen how good the two lads brought on loan in are...Pienaar and Donovan anyone...?

A protest would present the fans anger but kenwright would go back into hiding for 12 months an we wouldnt hear of it

Loan signings aren't a suitable replacement for our outgoings, what are we gonna do next year? sell a few more players and buy a bunch of loan's just to reduce our debts.

Our debt's are one of the healthiest in the premier league, clubs who are in debt still manage to buy multiple transfers yearly. Yes in the long term this could be a benefit but in the short term, our league position will continue to fall meaning less income from our final position and the less attractive our club will look in terms of buying players.

A protest will go nationally and get media coverage leaving the board with a lot more pressure rather than a few fans shouting stuff at them. It could also attract some potential investors.

I know it's a long shot but complaining over the internet and in the pub isn't solving the problem and it's not pressuring the board.

Good point, thats how most other clubs have got investment,  isnt that how liverpool were taken over ?

Maybe possible investors would realise the state fans are in and tell kenwright to sell up.. i wish

It's about time Bill and the board fooked off. Why has our debt got higher and higher to the point where we are unable to sign anyone and have to sell our players to please the banks/board? I believe Man City's Sheik was after us prior to him buying City, but after things were agreed, Bill changed the goalposts. Just think what could have happened?
Why are a team like Stoke who have only been in the Prem a few years, able to continually build their squad without going in debt, yet have not been as successful as us?
Bill you say you love the club and its in your blood - well if you love it that much you would leave now. Let a consortium of fans buy the club for a nominal fee, with you and the board leaving and we will take on the debt and run the club better.
Possibly one of the downfalls of our once great club has been all the excessive consultants fees for a new stadium - including the famous Kings Dock saga when Greggs firms were skimming excessive fees from the club which led to the fallout between him and Kenwright. I wonder though how it might be if Gregg had taken control?
Can someone buy us and get rid of Kenwrights cronies before we go into administration and are docked points.

When the bank refuses to loan you anymore money or refuses to increase your overdraft because you cant pay money back they your debts aren't healthy so the sale of a big name player was the only way to get the bank off our back. Liverpool are a club with massive global potential and a large global fan base so are an obvious target for investors, while we are not that's just plain to see.

I hate to see a big player leave but it had to be done.

Couldn't agree more why sit back complaining when we can take action before its too late and we end up losing all our best players for peanuts. What harm can a protest against the board do ? it would get great media coverage and let the current board know where they stand with the fans and hopefully they will take care the next transfer window 10 million for Arteta, 1.5 million for yakubu, 2 million for vaughn, 4 million for beckford and 3 million for pienaar,,,,,,,,,,, thats 20.5 million that i personally dont think david moyes will ever see !!

Just gotta say this, there have been investors, but the Board have been too unreasonable. No one wants to buy Everton FC lmfao. (except its not funny when you know that they have had offers, very good offers infact)

Deeply disturbing where our beloved club has been led, dont think anybody's bothered anymore. I think with Lescott, Arteta gone it now opens the door and makes it easier for Moyes to go. BK had his chance to transform this club and take it forward when Arteta was on fire and we were a team that feared no other making it into the top 4/5 and qualifying for europe. Everyone knew then, there was a momentum about the place, that was the time to push on and take us forward but we the fans were failed. Will be interesting to see what happens with Cahill and Baines now too. Our bubble from a few years ago has definitely burst and its no stretch of the imagination to anticipate a relegation battle. Well done BK youv **** us right over, Moyes did his best for you on shoe string and gave you some great memories at wembley, but the clubs at a crossroads now. I dont think there will be a need for a demonstration as the club will now go through a transitional change, unfortunately i think for the worse. I would be surprised if Moyes is still with us in 2013 along with Cahill and Baines. Thanks BK, we owe you one, why didnt we push Jags out the door for another 10mil and be done with it. In fact why dont we try and run the rest of the season with the reserves. What the F happened to the Yak ? Watching us beat the red **** at home last year, yak had a great game, strong up front, holdin the ball up well and was a nightmare i thought for their back 4. Havnt seen him since, what the f'ks all that about? This club under BK is a joke but as long as hes filling his pockets he doesnt give a **** and thats the way it will stay until he fuks off. Simples
