    3 average players out,  two in, loads of money saved, 2 new prospects and Barkley coming through.. works for me.
    I am actually quite happy with this window to be honest.

    Who wasn't on £60k a week and not getting any younger.  He may get an indian summer at Arsenal, and good luck to him, but we need a player more effective than aesthetic.

    Couldn't agree more. i just wished we also got in Benteke, could have too if Arteta was sold earlier. Lets hope we have an option to buy Traqua should he turn out to be a good goal scorer.

    YA ONLY ARTETA DECIDED HE WANTED TO BE SOLD LATE INTO THE LAST DAY OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW WHY DIDNT HE SLAP IN HIS TRANSFER REQUEST LAST SUNDAY WHEN THE PAPERS SAID HE WAS GOING???? I BLAME ARTETA NO ONE ELSE HE COST US ANOTHER SIGNING!!!

    Oh you drama queen.  He just made us much more solvent, got a player, and a potentially belting one, on the left, where we have no-one, a possibly better forward, and even if Drenthe is on silly money saved some wages from the sales of Yak, Beckford, Arteta, got in £15m in sales.  Arteta while good wasn't at his best, and played places we have cover for.

    the problem is halfwit arteta was one of our best players and this is one big step backwards ok.

    Loving the fact people are saying whats the big deal, saying how crap he was......yeah righty o guys, thats why Arsenal wanted him eh. Unbelieveable how so many everton fans have their heads in the clouds. WAKE UP! The club is being killed by good old Bill and this so callled board we have here. Run a club be fuked, could run to the shop. Long season ahead, oh nd mark my words, more senior players will be leaving in Jan. I certainly wont be spending as much money on going to games and merchandise until Bill fuks off. The end of Moyes wont be too far away either. But hey whats the problem eh.

    But what is the big deal? People moan when we are in debt and people moan about breaking our wage structure on Arteta, but as soon as we sell him people moan!!! We are now in less debt, we have a reduced wage bill, and we have a winger and a striker which is what we have been crying out for all summer!!
