    we've replaced arteta for a pacy winger which is what we need, we've sold a striker who we got for nothing for a profit and replaced him with a striker who was the top scorer in the top argentinian league last year, im thinking that it is a higher class of football than banging in a few goals in league 1, and we have sold and got off the wage bill a player who didnt play last season.

    So where is the problem? Just a shame yobo didnt go aswell for anotehr 2million quid and saved us anotehr 2million a year in wages.

    The problem is that the Argentine doesnt belong to us. If he is godd he will be off to pastures new quicker than you can say fernandes, for nowt. Its what happens to the 15-18 mill that is the problem. The bank is calling in its debt....the first sign of pre administration!!!

    Nothing to do with administration, its simply a matter of needing to sell to clear debt.
    Lots of clubs have to do this, in fact anyone not bankrolled by a billionaire has to live within its means and if you look at Villa and the likes, several clubs that are bankrolled by rich people have had to do the same.
    As it happens I think we did okay considering how much money we just got off our payroll.
    Could be enough to see us into positive spend at the end of the year and actually making money. All over to Moyes now.

    I think it was good business BUT.. The timing was awful. We had no time to bring in a replacement for Arteta and because of that Everton's squad is a lot weaker. I hope Kenwright and Co can show the fans a balance sheet that shows the money brought in from recent transfers has gone to reduce the debt.

    your making false assumptions mate, with no fact to base your opinion on. you would think the way you are going on people like me and others on the forum dont want a rich benefactor to take over the club or for us to be more wealthy, we do, we all do, but until we find a buyer there isnt anything we can do.....and as for being able to find a buyer, Mike Ashley was trying to sell the Cartoon army for god knows how long, there stadium is bigger, they get more in it every week, and he STILL couldnt sell it, not an easy thing to do is it??!?!?!?!?

    So Green and Earl have invested their cash for their love of Everton have they? What EXACTLY do they do, they get a healthy return per annum on their initial investment and occassionally give BK business advice, perhaps about the 20 million of unknown other operating costs!!

    What a load of crap were does all this dribble come from? IF BK left who would take over? Would they be a True Blue Evertonian? Would they invest in a new stadium? IF it went **** up would they stay and fight to keep the Club afloat? OR would they p*ss of back to where ever and take what was left with them????
