    Who. what or why the riots started is irrelevant lids

    The big talking point is the lack of action the tories are all on holiday blundering boris only bothered to show up today

    So all you tory boys who try and worm their way out of the rafa FACTS need to give their head a wobble this is nothing to do with labour its happened on the tories / lib dems watch

    See what happens when there is no clear winner to an election and yes tory boys the tory party never won

    We have some form of major riots very 20 years or so, they happened in the 80's, 60's, 20's and before, but for different reasons. The 80's was mostly political or racial, last nights were just scumbags robbing. I agree with Tony when he says it's happened on their watch, and they need to crack down. listening to idiots like Ken Livingstone scoring political points and excusing them is sickening............

    All Valid points but the one missing is that this behaviour is indicitive of the way are as country is right now. Surely there is something wrong with it if these idiots think this is the way to behave?.............this crap we've been seeing goes beyond political views it goes much deeper than that (Because lets face it - there is no real distinctive politcal ideology anyomore) - it comes down to those who have and those who don't.......be it Money - Education - Decent moral compass - opportunity blah blah blah... Condem the idiots by all means ( I do) .....but it goes deeper than that I think!

    What do you think these politicians could do???? Some judge will be paid fortunes to put together a report that will blame everyone and anyone? AEveryone will state the obvious "this is wrong" "they will be brought to justice" and other bull but nothing will change

    They lost all control when the "politically Correct" movement meant that crime pays. The whole system is screwed and no politician can get it back. We have a system where leaders need votes and make policies to get them. All these riots know how to play the system are probably on more benefits than the average manager's salary and know how to play the legal system to get away with what they are doing.

    Politicians (all parties) cannot solve these problems because it needs huge reform. I say put a cerfew in place and close all bars, clubs, shops etc. Then if riots kick off and you are on the street you are guilty and we don't get this innocent bystander crap where we pay fortunes for independent investigations and compensation for police trying to handle a dangerous situation.
