    If he wants to go, and handed in a transfer request, let him go. 10 million for the bank, and 75k a week saved.

    all good saying that, if we sold him and baines got injured we literally would be in a relagation fight, baines and arteta are the only creative players in our team.

    To be fair, this is only a rumour and he did say that he was happy at Everton.

    Arteta hasn't been the same player for a while now. Hopefully this Drenthe will be good for us, his Youtube clips are looking promising

    I agree Zagan, Baines and Osman have been the creative players for the last 18 months not Arteta.

    Not sure where I sit with this one.  One hand gutted, the other not so bothered.  He aint been the same player since his knee injury and we are overloaded for central midfielders albeit he is still a top player.  The signing of Drenthe may turn out to be a better long term fit as we desperately need a pacey wide man.  I just hope it doesn't have a negative effect on others.  If he had asked to leave, lets hope we get the best deal £10-£15 million and get the £75K per week off the wage.

    I'll say it...I have a fear that we lose Yak, Beckford, & Arteta, then don't get these two new players signed up.  Then January is a long way off!

    I hope it doesn't happen, but doesn't it seem possible? Just over an hour to go...
