Osman to West Ham.....

    Only a rumour on twitter, apparently posted by the same bloke who said Yobo to Liescester (can't spell that!), 6mil would you sell if true?

    I agree he is quality, but at 31 though that's big money and I would bet he is on big wages too, could free up the funds for Peinaar and Fernandes?

    I can see both sides....6 million is a lot of money and we could use it to buy another quality player...
    But, we do have a quality player in Osman. When he is on his game there, is no stopping him from scoring. He has a way of getting himself to where he needs to be and sneaking in to score. I'd personally really hate to see him go.

    I have never witnessed Osman play well against any of the bigger teams, he can usually produce against those around us but never quite has the same effect in big games. I do rate him though and I very much doubt this deal is likely to happen and obviously wouldn't mind at all if it didn't

    no chance would i sell him.  ossie is a quality player and let's be real who are you gonna get to replace him with 6 mil.  he's a local lad, good for the club and the dressing room and quality on the pitch so i say let him retire at everton.  you need as many homegrown players at your club as possible just to keep the spirit of the club going

    Are you people off your heads? If the report is true, and assuming the West Ham offer isn't similar to their Yakubu offer and they don't want to pay the transfer fee in 50p annual installments for 12 Million years....SELL!!!

    It is in all likelihood the last chance to sell him at a decent enough price. Wonder if the West Ham fans know enough about him or will they question the club/Sam, he isn't stellar is he?

    bar when he outjumped 6ft 4in vincent kompany , getting absolutely clattered in the process, to nod in a brilliant winner against city the season before last at goodison, ..  :-O

    Agreed! I was beginning to like Ossie at one point in the season, then he had a shocker at Wembley and was shoite ever since.... Get rid, he's too inconsistent.... Or if you want to put a positive spin on it - Consistently shoite!! And even then he can't do that!!

    Ossie frustrates the living hell out of me.

    6 mill would be great, Osman been a great servant but has had an indifferent season and also not much pace left in him. Maybe time to let him go.

    You cannot take one moment and call it a good performance mate. It was a great leap and technically a good finish but what else did he do in the game, Brett Angell scored one against Chelsea but that did not make him even a player never mind one to perform against the top teams. Ossie is quality, I have nothing against him and I think he would look like Xavi in the championship but he goes missing in big games, just my opinion mate if he proves me wrong and puts in a match winning performance for us against anyone you consider top rated side next season you can call me on it and I will eat the humblest of pies

    Too inconsistent for me. We really need players who are going to show up EVERY week ...nice guy but if we have to sell someone then let it be him. Especially if it means we can get Pienaar.
