My mate is going to an everton match for the first time, possibly for the first game of the season, and we were wandering where you'd all recommend sitting. Personally I like the Upper Gwladys, but what do you all think?

Top balcony so i get a good view of both goals.

I'm a footballing connoisseur so i like to be able to get a good view of what is going on all over the pitch.

lower gwladys is the best place for a great atmosphere, but not the best view from the back row. best place to be imo

Pretty much this. When I had a season ticket in Lower Gwladys it may not have always been the most comfrotable place to sit with the sun glaring down on there for certain parts of the year and the view isn't the best compared to other parts of the stadium but the atmosphere is always the best and I'd have never wanted to sit anywhere else, whenever I go now I always try and sit in Gwladys street.

I've had a few season/ half season tickets in the top balcony and it has a great view. This year I had a half season ticket in the upper Gwlady's and the atmosphere was great especially against Chelsea, Spurs and City.

I'm happy sitting anywhere tbh mate. i jsut like sitting up there cos of the view more than anything. looking down on the pitch. the atmosphere isnt the best, but when ever ive sat there ive had a good view of the pitch which is important to me.

nah sandals the view is awful with the posts

I was pretty high up in wembley and the view was superb main stand/top balcony isShite it just highlights the need of a new stadium under a pauper (in football terms) chairman,**** Reading are richer than us.....

Yes mate i wouldn't not disagree there.

I also dont mind sitting in the upper bullens. in the corner more or less in line with the goal at the Glawdys street end, thats not too bad a view.

Last time I went I treated my old girl to the Alex ....ended up sitting a few seats across from BK. Wigan at home last year.

Had the greatest day. Took pics of her with Dave Hickson, Joe Parkinson & Duncan Mckenzie. BK walked through & I had to restrain her because she wanted to know when we were going to win the FA Cup. Or anything really.....

    Still passionate at 84.

But I'd sit anywhere if I didn't have to think about stairs etc.
