All about opinions, but he's not a premier league player. Poor control, poor pass vision, and watching him it never looks as though it will improve. He is a goalscorer though, but we all know Moysey record with goalscorers...........................

I THINK HE WANTS TO STAY AND DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE THE STEP DOWN...

HOWEVER IT'S PLAINLY OBVIOUS MOYES DOESN'T FANCY HIM ANY MORE....

Agree with this.  i dont dislike Bekford or anything but he and ~Anichebe would make a good Championship partnership not a Prem one. the odd bit off magic aside he has poor technique and composure, better than nothing but if we can get 3-4 mill for him we should grab it in my opinion

Cant argue to much with that, but in a team that struggles for goals, he was top of our goals list last year seems strange to try and sell him. If he was from overseas we would say it takes a while to settle into the league, maybe we should give Beckford the benefit f the doubt ;)

To be fair beckford hasnt been involved in football a long time ie going through an academy like a youngster and learning his trade. He has to do it the hard and fast way and his record speaks for itself. Yes he isnt good at holding the ball up or a great passer but what he does bring is goals. Hes a bit like andy cole mode. Wasnt an amazing finisher but had good pace, good poaching instincts and out of handful of chances would always put 1 away. He did ok for ManU if i recall ^^.
Beckfords 1st ever season in the premiership he scores how many goals? 9 -10 ? alot of them from the subs bench aswell . Problem lies with moyes imo hes way too defensive , tactically niave and hates to play with 2 strikers. im sick an tired of his 4-5-1 crap and to play that at home vs QPR is an insult to supporters.  We lose Beckford and its back to the over reliance on Tim Cahill cause i dont see where we are getting goals from.

Btw my personal opinion on cahill is , past his best will still get a few goals but we have become way to predictable with him and we play better as a team when hes not there.

Was reading your post, interesting opinion, agree with the Moyes defensive ways, however, as everyone on here knows i wont listen or read anything against Timmy, shut it...... %-(
