Gut feelings, premonitions etc, who has had one/them??

Damo brought it up in another thread, basically about when you get that feeling that something is just going to be, and it got me thinking about people experiences when they just know something is/has going to happen.......i'll start us off....

Few years ago i was working the night shift at asda, i must have been maybe 23-24, and i left work early at about 4am as i was going shopping in the afternoon with the then girlfriend.....home was a bout 12 minutes away and before i set off i filled the car up with fuel. Now i never used to EVER wear my seat belt in the car, after filling up i got in the car and thought 'nah, 12 minutes home, 4am, i wont need it on'........however, the weirdest thing happened, it was like someone took my hand and put it in the seat belt and made me put it on, i remember it happening and It was the strangest feeling ever. On the way home, i flipped the car over into a ditch and if it were not for me having my seat belt on i would have been in a very bad way.

The other one was one February morning about 5 years ago, the sun was bright in the sky,  it was like a spring morning,it was cold, but a gorgeous day, i was out golfing with some friends, now i'm not very good at golf at all and on the 2nd hole i ended up in a bunker, i took my sand wedge out and chipped perfectly out, landing about a foot past the hole, and the spin on it dragged it back leaving me with a simple 2 inch putt. Now that might not seem much, but i'm clueless at golf and would never ever play a shot like that ever again, my Grandad absolutely loved the game though and literally 2 minutes after knocking the ball in the hole, my phone rang. I had to dash to the hospital as my Grandad was there and had taken a turn for the worse. I got there with about 5 minutes to spare and he died at 11.03am. Bizarre that i played a once in a lifetime shot the very same morning as he died playing a game that he loved. Life work's in very mysterious ways at times thats for sure :)

Sorry for boring you all there, getting a bit sentimental like!

It's 1994 the last minute of the Warrington district league final.

Its 1-1 the ball is played 50 yards up to me with my back to goal . I bring it down like a god on my chest then chip it up as it drops to my foot and flip over like a Chinese acrobat with a bicycle kick 30 yards from the goal and the ball like a rocket flies into the top right corner flag.... And goes out for a throw in.

I f*cking knew that would happen.

I had a premonition the last time I saw my mate in December 1991 that something was gonna happen to him and I'd never see him alive again. He was killed in a crash 2 weeks later on Boxing night.

Never told that to anyone I know personally. And I definately wouldn't now since that mates brother has since started dating and later married my sister. Big no go area!

The famous Wimbledon game in 1994. We're 2-0 down. I still KNEW we were gonna win. It was never a doubt.

Dunno whether you'd call that a premonition or blind stupidity!

My current premonition is that the world is NOT gonna end on December 21st this year.

December 2nd 2039 just before tea time looks seriously dodgy tho!

The past present and future exist as one, time is perception. I have 'premonitions' regularly and think nothing of it, if you understand how the universe actually works then it's just a natural extension of our abilities.

I'm not arrogant enough to claim that I know exactly how it works but, I've educated myself on the subject and given life experience, I think I now have a fair idea.

If you have a basic grasp on Physics, check out http://www.whatthebleep.com/. The site is based on a film named 'What the bleep do we know?'. If you're really interested, give it a watch and we can discuss the ramifications.

I've seen it mate. It's very interesting and ' 'the believe there's something more ' side of me found it endearing.

However the 15 years of taught science me knows it's mostly b0llocks.

Especially the changing water particles part.

Life & Death in a Malay Cemetery

This Photo nearly killed me! I noticed the storm approaching from across the river. I took a few pix and as the storm was coming closer decided to pack up. Then I thought, 'I'll just take one more from over there'.

Well, I can't say that I heard a voice, but my mind was filled with one word, 'NO'. So I decided to pack up. As I was doing so there was a huge peal of thunder right overhead, and, at the same time a loud hiss, behind me. I reckon it was the lightening bolt. I'm glad I didn't take that picture.

Masaru Emoto's the water guy. That part is just a titbit in the dramatic side of the film, something to draw you in on an emotional level. I'd like to see those scientists that knock it disprove it though, i've not heard of any studies that even make an attempt.

I have the Quantum Edition, over 13 hours of footage, 9+ of the interviews with scientists. OK, some of them are Noetic, but they all speak along the same lines. The parts that run parallel with accepted science interest me most, the discussions on energy in particular. It's accepted that the total energy in the universe is finite, it cannot be added to or taken from, only used.
We, as is everything else in the universe, are composed of energy at the sub atomic level; at that level we are all linked, in space and what we call time. On that basis alone we can look at all sorts of 'crazy' things as being possible. Just look at twins and their ability to feel each others pain when they're nowhere near each other. Why? because they're twins! Why would they be linked on ANY level because they shared a womb for 9 months; maybe, just maybe, the energy frenquency they operate at is the same and the fact we're all linked at that level gives them a form of communication we just don't understand, or even believe in yet. There are numerous unexplained examples of 'strange' happens that make some kind of sense when you factor in we're all linked.

Another part that interests me is the claim that the world as we see it is a projection created by our minds, a waking dream or holo world. In reality we exist as conscious energy at the sub atomic level and create what we perceive as the universe to expand our knowledge and experience. There is one god, for want of a better title, the universe and everything in it. If you can accept that we create everything around us then we can also manipulate and 'see' things within that creation that most can't, because they can't accept it's possible it then becomes impossible, to them. If you're mind tells you something is impossible and you truely believe it's impossible, it is, for you.

I've been into this sort of thing for many years and yes, there are a lot of bull****ters out there, looking to make money by making outlandish, yet just about real enough to sell books to those that would listen, claims. But in that haystack you'll find more that one needle that'll **** your curiosity.
