Clint Dempsey may have played his last game for Fulham after the 29-year-old was ruled out of the club's final match of the season with a groin strain. Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal are all ready to make bids in the summer.

Everton manager David Moyes is set for talks with chairman Bill Kenwright in the next few days and hopes to unlock the transfer funds that could propel the Goodison Park side back into the top six.

Personally I don't think we should go for Dempsey due to his age and how much he will likely cost.

Much more out there. Dempsey a good player but one that won't get me excited and not value for money

Also think we should get hoilett pay him well too. Young will hold his value and what you pay in wages you will save on transfer fee and no doubt re coup your money and some in a few years. Great partner for jeli.

How will we be able to afford Dempsey if DM wants Pienaar as well?

We are the leading contenders and the favourites to sign him, according to the Mail.

I think Dempsey will be good to the club, due to the fact that he's American and is popular in America, which Howard and Donovan made Everton popular as well, Dempsey would make it even bigger and we'll eventually get a buyer!  ;-)

I like Dempsey and all, but I'm not sure if he is a good fit for us. Don't get me wrong, he is talented and can score goals but then go long droughts where he doesn't score at all. He lacks consistency in my opinion. Perhaps what funds we have could be spent on someone else.

If he does end up signing with us I'll be happy to have him in a blue shirt.

Should go for Gylfi Sigurdsson. He's younger, better and has a first name that's fun to say

Did you see Jessica's predictions for the footy this weekend. Predicted we'd win and the RS would lose.
