Try bidding £10 Million for any of the other 10 players in the team of the year Fergie.....see what happens!

I'm sure he has a pretty good idea of how much it's REALLY gonna take to get Baines out of Everton!

exactly........£5m was an insult, £10m ain't much better.......

i guess there's a danger for us now, that clubs will try do what Arsenal did with Arteta......tap the player up, low ball us with a bid, & get the player to force the move.....

Well he is a Scot & I reckon he's going to blame us forever more if they lose the title. So he's taking the p*ss.

But then who wouldn't want to play for the mighty United. Best team in football history. Reckon Baines should be jumping at the chance (not).

Amazing though how these 'BIG' teams want to buy our players. With all their resources wouldn't you think they would be way ahead of us in that respect? Lescott, Arteta, Peanut, Jagielka, Rodwell, Barkley, Baines & Fellaini (I've probably missed a couple).

If you look at those names - what a squad you would have. Unfortunately for us football is now a business. For the club & the players.

I have a great friend here who supports Arsenal but also has a soft spot for Everton. We have a long-standing joke that Wenger will be always be raiding our squad. Praise indeed. And really when other supporters are praising your club you have to be proud.

I have a hunch that Baines is the type of player that will be a Blue forever. Don't see him on the cover of OK magazine in his mansion. He's a humble bloke.

And at the risk of being more boring than you-know-who! That's all.....

Unless we get billionaire owners he wont back until he's old, useless and can't get in the United team any more.

He must be a fr**ggin billionaire himself now (or not far off).

He can buy us (wow what a thrill that would be for the lad).

I would if I had the money.

As we keep getting told - follow your passion. It may not make you rich but it WILL may you happy.

Bad parenting. Bad education. Not the lad's fault.

I don't know how any true Blue could pull on that shirt. Man Utd are (hopefully) about to end a season with exactly the same as us -NOTHING. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

    True that but I just hate the cunt_for the way he left. Although I'm more then happy with the current spine of our team;
Howard, Jagielka, Heitinga, Fellaini and Jelavic.

If we can keep Pienaar and buy one or two more key players then next year could be a good year for us

You're a true Blue Dan. You take all the actions of these money-grabbing tw*ts to heart.

But better to have let him go. Same with Arteta. The fans sing their praises but what happens at the end of the day?

They look after No. 1. So best of luck to them.

But I'm quite sure they will never forget being part of this club. Well until they look at their bank statement anyway........

I like Mikel. I think the way he left the club was a bit disrespectful but overall he's been great for us and I wish him the best.
