    Had a really good night, absolute quality evening!

    Took a decent shot in the first round and took a knee and took the 8 count, dusted myself down to win on points!

    Yeah mate, it was a decent dig from the lad, i could have stayed on my feet and got straight on with it, but i used my noggin, give myself a few seconds to recover, covered up for a few seconds, whilst the barrage came at me, then coasted through the rest of the fight really :)

    2 and 2 mate.

    The 2 i lost were tight enough really, though i done enough to win at least one of them tbh.....just great experience more than anything for me mate, have good craic down the gym with the lads, then the pre fight nerves are pretty hard to handle. then when you get in the ring, look at your opponent, the bells goes, and you know its just you and him, there's no where to hide, the buzz is hard to describe mate, it really is something else. Memories for a life time mate, they really are!

    Sounds great.

    As you know I'm a massive fight fan...boxing and mma. But my mum wouldn't let me take up boxing as a kid no matter what my old man said lol. So only got to work a bag and pads with him unfortunately.

    Funny you should say that mate, cos this will make you laugh, im 33, and my old man goes crackers when he knows im fighting, he hates it, and my mam wont come and watch at all! The Missus thinks its great though......haha

    Same age as myself....nah my dad sees it as the noble art, he always wanted me to box.

    But my mum said no so I took the next most dangerous sport..... Snooker lol.

    I'm not allowed to fight. The judge said I'm too dangerous and should maybe classed as a weapon of mass destruction.
