It's only the mirror but thought I'd throw it out there anyway....

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-have-been-linked-with-a-22m-move-813646

Chelsea are preparing a £22million summer swoop for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to reports.

Roman Abramovich is expected to sweep the changes at Stamford Bridge in an attempt to overhaul his ageing squad.

The Blues have already agreed a deal to sign Werder Bremen midfielder Marko Marin at the end of the season and Fellaini could follow him.

The Belgian midfielder joined Everton in 2008 and has impressed with his courageous attitude and ability to score goals fro midfield.

Everton would be keen to keep the 24-year-old but an offer of over £20million would be difficult to refuse given the club's financial constraints.

Chelsea had previously been linked with another Everton midfielder, Jack Rodwell.

yea I do not want to see any1 leave to be honest I would keep fellaini no matter what. I think he is irreplaceable. Jelavic is the stiker we have been crying out for. We have not had a proper goal scorer in decades.

There is not a hope in hell though that chelsea will pay 10 million for barkley, however if they did that would allow us to sign pienaar up and free up some cash for a right back.

    Paper talk..all paper talk...

we finish the season strong and once again our players are in the spotlight...always gonna happen..

this "financial crisis" at everton does my nut in...we're managing our debt perfectly fine..thank you...

there's plenty of clubs out there who would love to be in our "financial crisis"......

ye right, they have ramires who is getting better and better and essien who has returned from injury aswell as romeu coming through the ranks.  its the 1 position chelsea DONT need a player.

So Chelsea wpnt buy him for 22 million.

    BUT.

    Man City will for 30.

    Sound.

And Essien is injury prone and has been for at least the last 2 years. So i wouldnt be so sure they wouldnt be interested.

Every summer the same old same old. According to the papers etc we're so poor we'll sell our best players just because some "big club" offers us 20 million quid. If Fellaini had wanted to leave he wouldn't have signed on for another 5 years and Chelsea, Man U or City could have got him for next to nothing.

Don't forget Baines is off to Man U to replace the "ageing Evra" anytime soon.

We just have to get used to this crap because there's nothing we can do about it

man city was a joke as if to say the papers will move on to fellaini for city next

and chelsea have ramires essien, mikel and romeu more then enough cover, fellaini may be better then some of those, but not enough to splash out 22m on.

    Cack.

Fellaini imo, if anywhere, will go Man U, he is just the sort of player they need.

as I said fellaini may be better then some of them but its not a probolem area for them.

and united havent played with a DM since keane retired.

teams these days prefer the box to box player or the creative player.  mostly defensive minded teams play with a DM

It maybe isnt a problem area, but it doesnt mean they woulndt be interested.

Personally i would prefer him not to go anywhere.

As for Man u, im sat talking to my mate who is ST holder at Man U, and he has said that Fellaini is someone thy could do with ......
