    Apparently we're signing him on loan from some club called Tigre, http://twitter.com/#!/philmcnulty . Have never heard of him but I think it said he scored 22 goals in 35 appearances for Tigre so who knows what he's like.

    reading some of the notes mate and it also says, arsenal bid 10million for jags and didnt come back with any offer after that.

    Is this the same Arteta we all want shut of? The same Arteta who has been the most overrated player I've ever seen in a blue shirt since the day we signed him?

    This is typical on here, anyone with a foreign name is going to be brilliant. If his name was Jeff Dishcloth and he had scored some goals whilst playing in Scotland, you'd all be saying he's crap.

    I'm happy now, at least we made a signing! And his stats look pretty decent. If he can adapt to the PL, things would start to look bright for us :)

    Beckford was starting to settle in I thought...so him out for a new guy unaccustomed to the EPL doesn't make sense to me.

    Although £4m for a player we got for nothing is good business I suppose. But there are other members of our squad I wish we'd have gotten shot of before Beckford.
