    I live here and am getting reports that the centre is on lock down with many shops having been looted. Rumours that the next town over is also kicking off.

    Let's just hope that the majority of urban communities stay calm and don't copycat the scenes in London and now Birmingham - we've had enough of that lunacy and 99.9% of it is just an excuse to misbehave and worse.

    There is no similarity between the two, one was a democratic protest for a cause, this is just divvys jumping on a band wagon and destroying peoples lively hoods and homes for no reason other than to cause havoc and fight with bizzys

    well the police have just shot somone for no reason and there taking it out on the police and goverment not normal people.

    Even though it ended with some trouble, theirs was a reason to protest, not an excuse to trash the place.

    We dont know if Mark Duggan was shot for no reason, a gun not belonging to the police was found at the scene where he was shot,

    The rioters arnt taking it out on normal people? tell that to the shop owners, and the people who had to flee there homes to save there lives as the carpet shop downstairs was set on fire
