Apparently Spurs want over £6M for him, so unless they let him go for less I doubt he will be coming back here on a permanent.

I think if moyes is smart and looking at it I think the player doesn't really want to be at spurs and probably regrets leaving. However if redknapp goes I'm sure pienaar would be given an opportunity to shine.

I don't think were in the business of paying for a player of that age.

    Was saha a permanent move?

Our decline was a result of loosing Piennar and Arteta. Jelly is looking good because of the quality service. If asked could we get astriker that would produce Jellys results for 12 mill would I take him then the answer would be easy.
Look outside the box and build Piennars price into Jelly results then its not a problem.
Jelly and Piennar for 12 mill with loads of goals equals good vaue.
Hate the **** for leaving but hell he is what we need and where would we get the likes of him for that price?

well you say decline, but we were **** poor first half of last 2 seasons with pinnar and arteta in the side, piennars made a difference since he come back but jelavic has been the key, actually having a goalscorer has made a massive difference so many games earlier in the season we would of won with him upfront.

Remember Donovan as well, would be a sweet service for Jela.

We need to buy assists now that we have a reliable striker and Pienaar will do that for a few more seasons yet. With the way Pienaar has played since joining the club will make lots of clubs want him and if we need to pay £6m to get him i think its a good deal. He'll repay what we pay for him in performances and mabie the good start to the season that we've been craving for so long.

one way of looking at it is he will only cost £3 million the money we payed in the first place for him we had our moneys worth then got 3 million for him so give spurs that plus another 3 either way hes easily worth 6 between him  jelavic an gibson they revived this squad  an with pienaar on a permanent an someone for the right side think we could easily achieve european football a good start is essential cant be playing catch up mid season
