I got the new Red Hot Chili Peppers "I'm With You" cd yesterday and I've been listening to it ever since. I still haven't made up my mind yet on how I like it. It has a different feel to it with a new lead guitar player...

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, "Face to Face", the best live Album ive ever heard.
Ive also last xmas got "Stand by for action" The music of Barry Gray. Sad but i love the music. In case you dont know, he did all the Gerry Andersson projects. Fireball XL5, Supercar, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Cap Scarlet, Joe 90 and so on and on. Happy days...............

I prefer cd's to downloading music. There is something special about holding onto a cd, pouring over the booklet and reading through the lyrics that you just can't get from downloads.

Grand National by The John Butler Trio - Cracking album and is definitely worth buying if you want to hear something different to the typical acoustic singer/songwriter.

But not the typical acoustic singer/songwriter such as Ray Lamontagne, The Civil Wars, Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons etc. John Butler's songwriting, instrumentation, arrangement and musicianship is pretty special.

Probably, but there's no harm in trying to educate others. If we can teach a dog to sit and not p.iss in the house then I can at least attempt to expand his musical taste.
