Is the head line.....to be honest, I'm not sure how long a manager has to answer silly questions for.... and then, just as he's leaving....lets try and_piss him off.

well at the end of the day i think we all knew how it was going to end with drenthe, hes always had his off field troubles and it really baffled me moyes takeing the risk, hes a million miles away from a moyes type player and moyes would never put up with his antics, hes had some good games really for us. but hand on heart who thought he would change under moyes?

i dont think moyes had much choice tbh we needed the strength in our side an he is class just abit of a ballotelli half breed off the field

fuked him off for good reason - he not worth the hassle an i doubt he would have made much more than a 10 min impression in that bad 2nd half turn out

Theres as much chance he would have just came on and give away a goal like the last time he played against Liverpool. Just because he can be a good player on occassions doesn't allow him to do what he wants. I'm sure we all hoped these kind of problems wouldn't come about when we signed Drenthe on loan this season for those who knew about him previously. I think its down to Moyes now whether he truly feels its worth signing him permenantly and hoping he can change his ways or just not bother with the hassle.

In fairness we don't know what it was about, we don't know if it involved other players and we don't know if it would have negatively impacted the rest of the team had he played.

Rather than blaming the manager do you not think we should be blaming the player seeing as it was Drenthe who did wrong?

I couldn't care less about royston dross he had no heart, passion or loyalty to the blues in trying to impress for a permanent contract. I would rather see that money spent on keeping Stevie P. At least he seems to love playing for the blues and is a much better player as shown by his popularity among us supporters.

Whatever happened, why does just Moyes get the question, has anyone asked Drenthe yet?

Why do the media always ask the most stupid questions ever? What do they expect DM to say to the questions they ask?

    "Will you miss Leighton Baines"?

No I would much rather play Phil Neville at left back.

"After last week you think your season is over"?

Yes so I have told the players not to bother from now to the end of the season.

"Is Darron Gibson looking forward to going back to Man United"?

No because he doesn't like the weather in Manchester.

    Do you get my point!

Football interviews are generally absolute rubbish. 11blue is right. the questions are tripe.

when they say `how important is this game` etc........what do they expect him to say.....`oh well its not that important, next weeks league game is more important`.....

    its rubbish

It's fairly obvious that the club told all the press that you can ask if Drenthe has been disciplined but not the reason why seeing as Everton's own in house journo didn't ask the reason why. Everton released a statement in the week saying Drenthe had been disciplined and said then that they would say nothing else on the matter and the press know that Moyes doesn't talk about that kind of thing with the press.

Similar thing happened a few seasons ago when Anichebe was disciplined so it's not surprise he wasn't going to talk about Drenthe's case.
