how about this for next season

sell jagielka and rodwell for a combined 25 million.  sign pienar and straq permantently (should only be a total of 5 mil for both). use the left over 20 million to buy 2 top class wingers (both with pace and dribbling ability preferably) and a cheapish centre back to replace jags as cover for hietinga/distin.

and most importantly play pienar behind jelavic.

i think the team we have got now has everything apart from creativity and pace.  we've got goals in jelavic, a solid back defense and goalkeeper, and in my opinion a fantastic central midfield in gibson/fellani.  if you added pace and creativity (wide right, wide left, and behind the striker) i think everton could easily finish in the top 6 next season.
pieanar behind jelavic would give us a different dimension than just hitting long balls to the physical presence of cahill.  it could be a bit like the old boro side were juninho played nehind ravanelli

    howard
    neville distin heitinga baines
    fellani gibson
    ?  pienar  ?
    jelavic

    what do you think ?

probably not get 25 million for jags and rodwell , and i dont ferkin want to be stuck with hibbert and neville at full back, play piennar on left with baines , buy a right back and a right winger and play barkley behind jelavic

Nobody is gonna want Rodwell at summer. Has he played well at all this season? No. Moreover, has he played at all this season? Not really.

He is not the next Rooney. He is not as good as you think. For the love of God, everyone, shut up about Barkley!

A lot of negative talk about Coleman recently. I think we are all to quick to judge his poor and injury hit second season. My understanding is that his original and natural position is right back where we badly need someone to make the position his own. Remember he stared there initially and contributed to two assists to bring us back from 0-2 against Spurs. His tendency to give away fouls can be coached out of him e.g. Fellini when he came first.

his tackling is attrocious, as proved with tackle on gerrard, no matter if hes been out that is just reckless, he also did same vs chelsea away and they scored from free kick, hes always giving bad fouls away and no chance in a million years hes full back. and hes just not good enough for me.

id sell jags rodwell coleman vic and vellios try an create some funds for a decent summer signing spree pienaar would be first buy without doubt. I would have straq for a small fee but wouldn't spend much more than a million on him if he isn't going to give vellios a chance cash in on him whatever we get  wolves look likely to go down id take fletcher or jarvis from them or both

He came on for 30 minutes and took two shots at goal which were a few yards off target. That isn't good.

who the hell is gunna buy jags and rodwell for 25 million, can't see us getting the full 25 million for jags cause I would not count on getting a penny for rodwell.....Who wants a player who plays 5-10 games max a season. I still do not see why some people think jags is now surplus to requirements (crazy)..... Jags is important to our squad and I would not sell him

i like the look of jarvis and flether too.  and they would both be fairly cheap.  imagine fellani/gibson in centre mid with jarvis, pieanar and fletcher infront of them providing the creativity for jelavic.

watching that side would excite me

Hopefully when the German Hamstring Specialist Cures him & Loads of Shooting Practise, Rodwell could forfill his Potential in 2012/13 [-O<
