I'd be surprised if his loan has been terminated without the club saying anything other that the situation has been dealt with internally.

Its a shame really but least Moyes has handled the situation without the media hype and front page headlines.
He was a good player just a bit of a loose cannon and if he wants to go to Liverpool then let him, with the players in their team Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy etc there will all clash and hopefully crumble.
