we have yak and yobo who we cant even sell for 1m each.

jags overpriced at 20m so no teams come in for him.

arteta and rodwell playing so poor, no teams are interested in them.

hetinga and bily not getting enough game time for teams to see what they can do, and as a result their prices will have hit rock bottom.

beckford and anichebe both championship level strikers, and saha is injury prone and 33, our entire first team strikforce is collectivity worth less the charles nzogbia.

    neville needs replacing

need a new centreback to play with jags

    need a LM,

    need abackup LB,

    need a back up RM,

need 2 new first team strikers.

    On the other hand

we don't need a Cb to replace Jags if Yobo stays

Don't need 2 strikers if Yakubu stays

We have decent back-up at Lb with Garbutt and Bidwell.

Rm can be covered by Bily Same as LM can be covered by Gueye.

We have the most exciting youth player this season in Barklay

and we have saleable assets in Jags,Felli and Arteta

we always seem to be having good youth coming through , then they go out on loan and eventually dissappear

    Nope

yobo has already said he has no intention of playing, and moyes clearly has no intention of playing him or the yak,

the yak isnt good enough, as  said we need 2 new quality strikers

next you are just putting reserve players into the team as cover, never going to work, garbutt, bidwell, same Our squad is threadbare in quality as it is

Barkley, moyes has already said his apperances will be rstricted, he will go the same route as rodwell has, and make most appearances from the bench once coleman is back

sellable assets in jags, felli and arteta, you can only sell them if teams are interesteed in them which they are not.

1 year on from now jags and arteta both hit 30, which means there transfer fee will become limited as they will only have 2-3 year remaining.  and fellaini still hasnt signed a new contract, next season his transfer fee will be less then 10m, are these really sellable assets?

    THIS^^^^^

Milky on one hand you say how many youth players have come through under moyes and how moyes is destroying them, on the other hand you say the like of bidwell and garbutt will just bed into the squad and become first team regulars.

people have always said we produce good youngsters, truth is like with most reserve players, they leave through the back door.

    Wrong again.

we dont have an excellent squad, we have an ageing squad that are simply being asked to sign new contratcs as we dont have the funds to replace them,

those youngsters you have mentioned will get limited game time and leave with in a few seasons, as wioth most reserve players.

I have seen a few reserve games last season, those players arent good enough.  vellios possibly but we are years away from that,

the likes of cahill and neville will slowly be getting worse and worse, premier league teams have had a wake up call this season.

RS and united have reinvested heavily, Chelsea have also made a few new additions as have city, arsenal need players but they have the money to do so and expect them to also sign 2 or 3 new players.

Villa are now rebuilding, and spurs already have enough depth in their squad even with out modric, expect him to be wheeling and dealing on transfer deadline day.

while we have been standing still, over pricing our players, waiting for teams to come in for them so that we can stenghtne , but that hasnt happened.  moyes assumed a few teams would be in for our players, how wrong was he,

moyes has actually had to come out and say we may sell a player or 2 before the transfer window ends, whereas in previous season he would say there is no chance we will sell any of our players, and when teamds did make offers, they would have to be way more then the player is worth.

If I had it my way, we would sell Arteta and Jagielka, and possibly bring in a Striker on loan. Give the likes of Rodwell, Barkley, Gueye a chance to prove themselves.

play Yobo or Heitinga with Distin.

Choose any 4 from Coleman, Cahill, Billy, Rodwell, Barkley, Gueye, Osman and Fellaini to play in Midfield.

Choose 2 from Anchiebe, Beckford, Saha, Yakubu and Velios.

At the minute, I dont think its the players that are the problem, its the Tactics. We should switch to 4-4-2 and go back to simple football.

    I would play

                        Howard
    Neville   Heitinga    Distin  Baines
    Coleman  Fellaini  Rodwell  Billy
                  Yakubu Saha

    Subs
Mucha, Yobo, Barkley, Osman, Gueye, Cahill, Beckford.

With Cahill on the bench, if we are winning, take off a Forward put Cahill on and go 4-5-1. If we are losing put Beckford on and go 4-3-3 and hoof it up to them.

Just my thoughts, but if its a choice between 1 or 2 players or Administration, I know what I would do. No player is bigger than Everton.

    Whatever

You do realise Yobo was in the squad for saturday.

I would also agree that youth has been a problem but the new brigade are looking better.

Barklay'splaying time should be limited doesn't make him any less of an exciting prospect.

I'm looking at positives you are looking at negatives.

It's all opions but i would rather look forwards than back

    Ok lets look forwards

Neville, distin saha all sign on for 2 more years.  2 years pass still no investment, no money for transfers and jags and arteta are too old to get a decent fee.

moyes contract is up and he leaves, Ditsin neville and saha all retire.

new manager comes in and inherits a poor team, no money for transfers but we have to replace nev, distin and saha, manager lasts for 6 months and gets sacked.  new manager comes in and sells baines rodwell and barkley for much less then they are worth ETC ETC ETC.

    Alternatively

Vellios replaces Saha who won't be offered a new contract.

    Mustafi replaces Distin

    And Coleman will replace Neville

    All this for nooutlay.

A few big names leave to pay our debt and we get new owners who invest 50 mill into the squad

Happy days everyone smiling excvept 1 possibly

mustafi vellios, you are assuming they will come through.

if all reserve players came through like you think they do, then none of the teams would ever need to sign anyone.

    and as for new owners

Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

The only REAL major concern for me is a striker, other than that we have enough quality/cover to last, neville does need to be dropped though he is **** awfull
