Grand national bets.... give a novice a hand

Its the only race I bet on. Me and the Mrs venture, once a year, into the bookies. We normally place a bet to win and one or two to place each and generally do ok.

Is there anything you regular horse betting types would recommend?

I hear seabass has a good chance of doing well with a female jockey.... who is your money on to win Sambo?
