the arteta to arsenal move seems to be grabbing some momentum, in most papers today, swap for bendtner, not sure about that really, arteta has been pretty poor for 12 months or more, we need a striker so i suppose it makes sense, bendtner is better than anichebe and beckford but not great. sooner get the 9 million there talking about and bring in crouch, but suppose the bank would snaffle all the cash

it frustrates me that there is players out there that we could get that wouldnt weaken our squad, whether it be swap deals or freebies, or even clubs wanting players that arnt necessarily going to be in the starting 11 every week, but we seem to jsut sit on our hands and hope none of our players leave.

For example, if Arteta went to Arsenal and we got Bendtner, Yobo and the yak left and say beckford went to one of the clubs apparently in for him, we would have maybe 6 million to spend, we keep hearing about this lewis holtby lad that plays left wing, if we actually had 2 wingers, i.e holtby and coleman marauding down the wings, barkley playing behind bendtner OR SAHA and felli and rodwell winning all the balls in midfield, wold we really look any weaker than we do now? i dont think we would......the only real bug bare i have is that we dont bite the bullet and just come out and say, if we want to move forward or freshen the squad up this is what we are going to have to do, most people would understand.

it seems to me, BK and DM are just frightened to actually sell any players for fear of what thefans might think. but for ffs, its football, players come and go all the time, we will just have to deal with it imo.

it make sense i guess, to look for deals that involve some sort of swap. i just cant see why arsenal would want arteta??

Can't believe people want Crouch ahead of Bendtner

no crouch, please, 30, wrong end of age group we should be looking at imo.  getting a bit frustrating when there is plenty of business we could with swaps etc, players we should be letting going and missing out on targets etc

Like Johno said, if we seek for cash the bank has first call on cash, if we swap for a plyer they can't do anything, makes sense.

What about swap for Arshavin, he's an Everton type player, and would suit us better than Arsenal........ :-?
