SHOULD MOYES TELL OUR PLAYERS TO LOOK FOR PENALTIES ?

    LIKE FORMICA DID ! KNOCK THE BALL PAST THE DEFENDER IN THE BOX RUN TO THE SIDE OF HIM AND THEN STICK A LEG OUT SO THEY GET CAUGHT ? SEEMS WE DONT HAVE PLAYERS THAT DO THAT ! WOULD YOU WELCOME IT ? COULD GET US MORE POINTS !

    I'm more in shock that we actually were awarded a penalty! last year we were into the second half of the season before we got one and my belief is we should of had one last week too so i was thinking we'd have the same story this year of never being awarded them but there we go :P

    A dirty win is still 3 points.. that is all really needed to be said

    I think we should. As bad as it sounds nearly every team will do it and won't feel sorry for it when they do. If our players see a trailing leg in the box thats the defenders fault and he should take the oppertunity (unless a good shot on goal is on offer). Not saying we should dive, more that if they can go down and think they'll get a penalty for it they should.

    im sorry if everton players are offered a leg to go over for a penaly like the 2 yesterday im pretty sure they will go down.

    THATS WHAT IM SAYING MAYBE WE SHOULDNT BE SORRY ABOUT IT ! SHOULD GET OUR PLAYERS TO KICK ONE OF THEIR LEGS HORIZONTAL TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE CAUGHT IN THE BOX ! EASY PENS !

    the reason we dont get penalties is becuase none of our stikers have pace, you need to have pace to be able to knock the ball past the defneder in the first place, beckford or anichebe cant do this, and saha is afraid as one bad tackle could end his career.

    if you listen to ex player pundits, every manager tells their players to look for it. arteta does it all the time! if not pens, then free kicks on the box. its not diving, its drawing the fowl. its also annoying as hell when its done to us like fornicator did yesterday

    Tickets, Beckford has pace, so does Saha. Kevin Davies gets penalties and he's no Usain Bolt. For once in your life be optimistic.

    beckford isnt that fast off the mark,  and you also need intelligence, and beckford has absolutely none of that, why do you think the likes of southampton and leicester have made bids for him


    saha has lost that fraction of pace, he cant run at defenders like he used to when he first came here, and he is now 33.

    he has the intelligence, but is scared to go in as one tackle could retire him.


    and anichebe, again lacks intelligence and pace.


    in addition to pace you need that intelligence to be able to draw the foul, the likes of rooney suarez, torres(in his peak) could do this all day long,
