    As indeed they did with Henderson and Adam ! Can do without the inevitable flak now but they are looking like they could challenge for the big one ! Let's hope thar Stevie G ***** it all up when he gets back.

    Can't see it myself.

    They struggled against sunderland,Got lucky against Arsenal and beat Bolton at home this hardly makes them world beaters

    Milky, apologies for the fact that I used an expletive and it appeared as that, I fully expected the filter to translate that into five stars so didn't bother trying to cheat it,to any kids out there, it is not clever to use this kind of language !

    adam and henderson are not gonnna take them to the title, and as milky said they struggled to beat a poor arsenal team and only managed to get somewere once they went down to 10 men, sunderland did them at home, and bolton were really poor, think there a long way behind citeh and utd really

    There not as good as city or united but they will get top4.


    all daglish needs to do is repalce handerson with gerrard so they have downing on the left and gerrard on the right, thats the only way they can real width.

    they have squad depth in every position and not just stop gaps, if they bring that centre back in, the only position left for them to fill is back up striker.  


    he brought in premier league proven players so that they could gel faster and you dont have to worry about "will they be good enough for the premier league" 


    people say he overspent this summer IM not so sure, enrique and adam are worth twice as much as they paid for them and were only cheap due to their contract, dowining I would rate at around 16-18m, hednerson is the only one but he still has another 12 years in his locker

    You really are off your rocker if you think Charlie Adam is worth 18 million and Enrique over 12 million, a player who was a big part of the defence when Newcastle were relegated.

    Adam was 7m, easily worth 14m in todays market, and enrique is easily worth 12m+, its only becuse of their contracts they were so cheap.
