    was it about 4 seasons ago, we went the whole season without getting 1 peno (home or away)......

    Not a fair reflection for me.......as far as i'm concerned, there's a unfair 6 point switch between us & liverpool......the Rodwell red card at Goodison won them that match.....we had beaten them last season, and i think we'd have beat them again this season....so take 3 points off liverpool, and give us 3 points.....makes a big difference.....

    even if you assume the game would have finished in draw......it makes for a 3 point switch in our favour (liverpool lose 2 points, we gain 1 point)

    either way, we'd be ahead of them in the league now.......

    For all we know....that table may have factored that in at the time and its swung back the other way with other decisions since. I've never seen that one before but used to check the 'right result table' which ran a few years ago....they kept a record of each decision they made about a game and gave reasons if they changed the resulting outcome for their league.
