God love him, hopefully King kenny can stay at the helm and lead them to bottom table mediocrity & we can push on & hopefully get into europe via the league & win the FA cup. Come on KKK you can do it.

you cant sack a manager if he wins you a trophy, even if it is only the carling cup.  if and its a big if they were to win the fa cup aswell that would be seen as successful season.

it depends which way you look at it, If chelsea finish 5th and with no trophy but liverpool finish 7th but with a trophy you would rather be 7th.

Tricky one. Tickets is right, 7th with carling cup is better than 5th with nothing. Challenging for 4th with nothing was supposed to be minimum though, so depends how highly you value cups. If we win the FA cup then he stays. If we reach the final, and finish 7th then he stays. If we lose to yous in the semi's and/or finish below you in the table then it's a more difficult decision though.

On current form we could finish in the bottom half even, and that's simply not good enough. Keep with him til the end of the season like, and we really need 7th or both cups minimum.

If a manager wins a trophy during a season then the season has to be viewed as a success. However, if I was a Liverpool fan I would expect a lot more from the team after spending in the excess of £120M in the summer. Also, from the outside looking in I think that Kenny is getting it wrong tactically. I don't understand why he doesn't play Bellamy and Kuyt more often, and I can't understand why he continues to play Jordan Henderson on right midfield.

Yeah, spot on really. Henderson has been ineffectual at right mid all year, but Kenny persists. Kuyt and Maxi should get more game time on the right hand side, while Bellers can only seem to start maybe 1 in 3. Problem is that we haven't had a proper right winger in ages. Henderson's a CM, Kuyt and Bellers are strikers really, Maxi plays left and further infield, Benayoun and Cole played more as CAM, Jovanavic and Babel both converted forwards, Riera was a left winger. So Pennant who left in '09, Garcia left in '07 were the last ones really. El Zhar was technically here til last year if you count him as a player :/ We really need some pace on the wings.

And of course you need a goal scorer because you don't have a proven PL goal scorer but all the 6 teams above you do.
