    Not sure why you are so negative about jelavic, as it does not seem you have many better options up front. He scored twice in three starts, and is exactly the type of player you needed...in any case, have some patience and faith..you got a good player who is young and can get only better w time....

    It only one idiot that slating Jelavic, Generally most people on here are very impressed with him, me especially. Also I know he will get even better the longer he is here and we saw some more of that today with his link up play and on another day he might of got 3 goals. I believe he is what our club has been crying out for. We have been w8n years for a striker like him.

    big goal for jelavic....after missing a sitter, and then another "half" chance, his confidence could have dropped.....but he kept getting himself in the right positions, and banged one in......will have given the whole team a lift...

    Like all top strikers, they miss more than they score, but it never bothers them when they miss, coz they know they will score.....

    I think that Jelavic will be a good player for us and hopefully score many goals. He seems to have decent movement and as long as he keeps getting in the positions to score the goals will come.
